Hi! I've been reading the intros of my cycle buddies from the IF board, so I'll make my official intro now too... Such a follower!

I had blood drawn for beta #4 today. 1, 2, & 3 were 124, 244, & 639. I'm cautiously optimistic as this is my first ever BFP.
I look forward to this journey with all you fabulous ladies! My EDD is 11\16.

My question is for those of you who aren't open about your IF & IVF struggles, when are you planning on telling your family & friends your news?
I'm absolutely horrible with secrets and don't know how long I can hold out. Part of me enjoys having this little thing between my hubby & I, but I'm wanting my close friends and family to be excited with me, or support me if need be... Hubby wants to wait until after u\s so we at least know if there's 1 bean or 2, so I know I can hold out that long!

     12/2/11 - IUI #1- BFN 
    8/1/12 - IVF #1 - Zero response from max stims (600iu intramuscularly)
    My ovaries are just for decoration

     12/6/12 - Adopted five embryos that had been frozen for over ten years!
     2/11/13 - DEmbryo FET #1 Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts. 
     2/16/13 - First BFP of my life @ 6dp5dt! EDD 10/30/13
     3/27/13 - After beta and u/s hell, no heartbeat ever detected. D&C at 9w1d.

    6/5/13 - Adopted four new embryos that had been frozen for seven years!      
    9/12/13 - DEmbryo FET #2. Thawed and transferred two beautiful blasts
    9/17/13 - BFP @ 5dp6dt! EDD 05/31/14
     9/29/13 - m/c @ 5w1d. :(

    11/19/13 - DEmbryo FET #3. Thawed and transferred one blast from each batch. Wow!
     11/23/13 - BFP @ 4dp6dt! EDD 8/7/13
    Beta #1 @ 13dp6dt - 522  Beta #2 @ 16dp6dt - 1373 
    6w5d ultrasound showed one perfect baby with a beautiful heartbeat of 134bpm!

    Snowflake baby is a girl!

    Congrats and welcome!  My mom, sister and a couple of friends knew a little about our IF issues, although none knew the full extent or what treatment we were doing.  With our first pregnancy we told our parents, my sister, and 2 of my friends after our 9 week ultrasound.  We then we had to un-tell them when we found out about our MC 3 weeks later.  We decided after that that we weren't going to tell anyone anything anymore about our situation, so no one knew that we were trying again or what treatment we were doing.  Our plan this time is to wait and not tell anyone until 14 weeks, if we make it that far.

    Congrats!!! My mom and BFFs knew about our IVF so I told them right away. I told the rest of my family at 12 or 14 weeks... But I think my parents already blabbed it!
    Me 36/DH 46 Me: Low AMH (.21) DOR, mild endo; Started seeing RE 11/12
    Jan-March '13 3 IUIs Clomid + Trigger = BFN
    April '13 IVF 1 MDLF converted to 4th IUI due to 3 runaway follicles! BFN
    July/Aug '13 IVF 1.2 Long Lupron = 7R, 6F, 2T= BFP!!!

    Woohoo!!' We told immediate family after the second beta, before the first ultrasound. They knew about IVF though and so they knew when our beta was. We are almost 11 weeks now and are waiting about two more weeks to tell everyone else.

    Welcome! We told our families about the babies at 9 weeks, the Facebook public at 12 weeks..but didn't actually tell our families about our IF and IVF until about 2 weeks ago.

    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    Welcome and congrats! We told our families after our positive betas but they also knew about our ivf and knew when we were getting answers.

    Me: 33 - PCOS & Hypothyroidism DH: 35 - SA is good Married since 2010 (together since 2006) TTC since June 2009 (we knew we would have issues and wanted family right away after we got married). No pregnancies yet. May 2013 - started first round of Chlomid & ovidrel cycle.

    Welcome and congrats! We told our parents after we had two solid betas. We told extended family and friends this week. And plan to go Facebook public in a few more weeks. We've been pretty open with our struggle and loss.

    Welcome and congrats!! We told our immediate family (parents and siblings) at 8 weeks after seeing the heartbeat. We plan on telling the rest of the family and friends at 12 weeks.
    image TTC#1 Since 10/2011 Dx PCOS 3/2012- started on 1500mg Metformin November 2012 DH diagnosed with varicocele- surgery completed April 2013 1st appointment with RE October 2013-polypectomy to remove uterine polyp October 2013 all necessary testing completed only option is IVF with ICSI due to MFI IVF #1-January 2014 ER- 22 retrieved 18 mature 17 fertilized!!! February 2014 ET one 8aa embie transferred 13 frozen (of the 13 9 were 8aa embies)-BFP! No heartbeat at 22 week anatomy scan-Our sweet angel FET#1- October 2014 transferred two frosties -BFP! 1st beta 271, 2nd beat 6748 5 week ultrasound shows two sacs repeat in 10 days

    We have been open with many people about our IF and IVF, so we told our immediate families after our 3rd beta and we told a few friends over the last few weeks.
    ****loss discussed*****

    We're queer. I'm 33, have severe stage 4 endo, and had both fallopian tubes removed. My love ("Manada" on the boards, 32) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tavin and Casey at 21 weeks gestation.

    Our IUIs
    with @Manada: IUI# 1-7 (December 2012- September 2013) all BFN. Tried natural, femara, clomid, puregon/follistim, clomid and menopur combo, both the ovidrel and HCG triggers.

    Our IVFs:
    IVF #1 my eggs November/December 2013: Cancelled IVF due to poor response

    IVF #2 my eggs/Manada's uterus January/February 2014
    BCPs and lupron overlap Stimmed: 1/22-2/2: Bravelle and Menopur (dosage ranged from B300 and M150 to B375 and M150 to B300 and M225)
    2/4 retrieved 10 eggs. Endo was much worse than expected. Only 3 eggs fertilized; February 7 transferred two day 3 embryos, froze one. All great condition.
    BFP eve of 6dp3dt; Beta 1 (11dp3dt): 110; Beta 2 (13dp3dt): 175; Beta 3 (15dp3dt): 348; Beta 4 (19dp3dt): 2222; Beta 5 (21dp3dt): 4255
    1st ultrasound (3/6  6w 1d): TWINS!!!! Twin A measuring 6w1d with a heartbeat of 118bpm. Twin B measuring 6w0d with a heartbeat of 113bpm. 

    ***July 18, 2014 we lost our beautiful babies at 21 weeks gestation. They were born too early. Tavin Sara T. and Casey Elizabeth T. are beautiful and precious and we will love them and miss them forever.***

    FET #1 December 2014
    Intralipid infusion on Dec 10. Transfer of 1 day 3 nine-cell embryo into my uterus on Dec. 19. (acupuncture immediately before and after)
    BFP on Dec. 27; Beta 1 Jan 2 (14dp3dt): 665, Beta 2 Jan 4 (16dp3dt): 1859, Beta 3 Jan 6 (18dp3dt): 4449, Beta 4 Jan 10 (22dp3dt): 12,251.

    Congratulations! I love seeing all these BFPs! We told our parents and his siblings right away. We couldn't help it we were way too excited.

    Welcome and congrats!

    My mom and sister know about out IF struggles. They knew from day 1 when I got my first beta. DH's parents found out 2 weeks after and we just told his siblings last weekend. I won't tell anyone outside of family until after 15 weeks. I have had a miscarriage before and untelling co-workers and not-close freinds is the worst, IMO.

    Me: 37 DH: 40 TTC since 9/09
    #1 BFP 1/10/11; missed m/c discovered 7w5d
    IF Dx: Endo, hetero MTHFR mutation, poor morphology
    #1 IUI: 1/18/12 = BFN
    #1 IVF/ICSI 4/2/12 = 2 x 7-cell and 1 x 5-cell transferred (3dt) = BFP!!
    H was born at 41w2d on 12/29/12 - be still my heart!
    #2 IVF/ICSI 1/19/14 = 2 x 8 cells transferred (3dt) = BFP!! EDD 10/09/14
    M&W born at 37 weeks on 9/18/14 - I am the momma of 3 boys!!!

    Congratulations and welcome! We had been open with our close friends and family... and were starting to be more open with others. Our parents, siblings, and close friends knew around 4 weeks when we got our second beta back. With the understanding that it can always go sideways. But I would need support if it were another loss so I felt ok doing that.
    Actively TTC since 01/11
    Me: 06/12 Dx w/ IR PCOS (rx 2000 metformin) DH: SA all clear; looking good
    06/12-10/12- Clomid/Femara + trigger + TI + P4 = 3 BFNs, hysteroscopy, polypectomy, D&C
    11/12 - 7.5 mg Femara + trigger + IUI + P4 = BFN
    12/12 - Surprise BFP ectopic (MTX 01/13)
    04/13 - Off the Bench! 7.5 mg Femara + trigger + IUI #2 + estradiol + P4 = BFN
    05/13 Clear HSG-5 mg Femara + Menopur + trigger + IUI #3 + P4 = BFP ectopic (MTX 07/03 & 07/11)
    07/23 emergency lap to remove ectopic mass and left tube
    10/13 5mg Femara + Menopur + trigger + TI(follie on left/no IUI)=BFN
    11/13 Same as above but BFP!

    Me 29 DH 30 Unexplained IF TTC since wedding May 2012. IUI #1 11/5/13-BFN.  IUI #2 12/5/13-BFN. IUI #3-12/30/14. All three with Femara CD 3-7 and Ovidrel trigger. +HPT 1/13/14 First +ever!!! Beta #1 195 Beta #2 1/15-533. Ultrasound on 2/4 showed one bean. EDD 9/22/14. Team Green turned Team Blue-Baby Conner arrived on 9/19/14.

    congrats and welcome!!! we found it easier to keep IVF between us because its hard enough to go thru it let alone be bombarded with tons of questions along the way from family. so we waited until 12 weeks. it was hard but im so glad we did it that way. im not the type of person to wear my heart on my sleeve either, and try to maintain a positive outlook and avoid complaining or talking about something just for the sake of talking when it doesnt help me or the other person aside from them filling their nosy curiosity, and then dissecting what  i've said, and criticize me for every decision. its just helped me stay sane during the first trimester lol

    I'm usually a blabber mouth... Surprisingly We have only told out close family and friends.. (Only those who knew we were going through ivf)...I'm not really superstitious about things as I believe everything is in Gods hands... But I probably won't tell my coworkers until I can't hide it anymore...
