Heartbeat but bleeding 9 weeks

I have had spotting since the very beginning. In week 7 I had heavier red blood. Didn't require a pad but enough to wipe multiple times to cleanup. I have had 3 u/s now (due to bleeding) and have seen heartbeat on all 3 (weeks 6, 7 & 8). Baby is on track as far as growth and heart rate.

I've been told to take it easy (no exercise or sex) and have been put on progesterone. My husband and I had sex last night for first time on over a month (due to being told to hold off). We didn't not fully penetrate and I woke up in middle of night with bleeding (red blood).

This bleeding has us anxious and scared. Has anyone else had same experience and had a positive outcome?

You were told not to but you did last night anyway? I just want to make sure I am understanding this correctly. Sorry you have to go though this, doesn't sound like fun.

Yes you are reading that correctly. Lack of intimacy has been very tough on us. Again didn't fully penetrate nor did I climax. Didn't think this would be an issue.

Got ya, same here.. Been on progesterone for a while and it's tough. If you have been bleeding throughout, try not to stress. Easier said than done, I know. Good luck, and try to put your feet up and relax

Oh I am sorry you're going thru this. Like PPs said, put your feet up and take it easy.

If your doctor tells you to not have sex, DON'T have sex!!!!

We've clearly made a mistake and I'm sure we will hear it from the doctor. Lesson learned just hoping it doesn't result in negative outcome. Just wanting feedback from others with similar symptoms/experience (bleeding after intercourse, healthy heartbeat, etc.)

Saw doctor. Us having intercourse did not cause bleeding. There were underlying issues which would've caused me to bleed either way. Have a subchorionic bleed which will hopefully resolve itself soon. Baby is doing great and has a strong heartbeat.
