btdt teething help

Lil miss has been esp fussy and fighting naps and sleep the past few days. She's been chewing on toys a lot but not overly drooling. She has no teeth right now.

For those of you that have babies that have gotten teeth does this seem like teething? Any tips/tricks that aren't well known?

Re: btdt teething help

  • Our pedi said she was teething at her 4m checkup based on her drool. She didn't pop a tooth until over 5 months later. When she did finally pop one she was fussy for a couple of days, but that was when it was working through the gums.

  • Teething symptoms are different for every babe. It very well could be teething, but,who knows. When DD2 cuts teeth she is miserable crying whining clingy,, she bites down on everything hard for a couple days before the show up and the day of the cut, after she is back to normal. I give her Ibuprofen or pain reliever to help with the pain.

  • Dd has 10 and she did pretty fine with the first 8 but now she is getting her 2 very back teeth and she has been super fussy. I feel so bad for her, her sleep has been horrible and she is very clingy. I hope it ends soon

  • I found my baby's 1st tooth poking through this morning. At her 6 and 9 month appointments, her pediatrician said that her gums were swollen and she thought she would be getting a tooth soon...so it took quite some time. I haven't noticed any excess drooling or chewing. She hasn't seemed fussy.
Every baby is different with teething...my older dd had 6 teeth by 10 months.

I hope your dd gets better soon!

  • My LO is teething bad right now. His first two on the bottom were no big deal. Then his top two started pushing down a couple weeks ago. Now we have those two plus four others trying to come at the same time! He is a whimpery, clingy, drooling mess!!!
  • We still only have 2 teeth, but she has been a hot mess for the last three days, so maybe another one is coming.

  • Well I will give it a few days and see what happens. Part of me wants it to be a tooth just so I have an idea of what she will be like.

  • Our first tooth arrived about 2 weeks ago at the same time as her first ear infection.  She was definitely a mess but no idea which was causing it (though I suspect it was the ear infection).  No more teeth yet.
