Sad but precious story

Last night I gave LO a pillow for the first time hoping the slight elevation would help him sleep better because of his ear infection. Well naturally he played with it first and threw it around his crib. At 3 o'clock I woke up to him crying, I go and check on him and he's squatting in the corner of his crib calling for his Hippo (hippo is easily his best friend and most prized possession, idk what he would do if we ever lost him) while crying! It was heart breaking! Hippo ended up under the pillow and he couldn't find him. Needless to say he gave Hippo a huge hug when mommy found him and went right back to sleep.
