I also thought of something else i wanted to tell you, get a new bank account of your own asap! Get all your work checks direct deposited to that account and all bills you need to pay set up to that account :-)

I opened one last week just didn't change my direct deposit because of all the house accounts that we paid directly out of it. That is good advice!

I'm ok. Just trying to figure out a game plan for this week. I think tomorrow I am going to start to look for daycares near my job. I think I'll take my oldest to his st. Patty party and invite my MIL. Then take the kids to lunch and daycare hunt. Need to become self sufficient!

Im always a pm away if you ever need to talk. I went through a divorce last year. My xh was emotionally verbally and borderline physically abusive and very controlling.

My dad and bd helped me move my things out of the apartment xh and i shared. Xh called the police saying i stole furniture from him. The police said it isnt theft since all our furniture was furniture i bought prior to the marriage and we hadnt ben married a year.

I also got very lucky, my bank wouldnt put him on my bank account because he owed wells fargo a little over 500 dollars in over draft fees so my money was safe. I also kept my dad on my account because my ex wouldnt let me buy food for myself and wouldnt let me work so my parents would put money in my account for food.
