We've tried 3 reflux meds, pumping, nursing, spaced feeding, blocked feeding, every recommendation and this was the pedis last stab in the dark to stop the projectile vomiting. We've done gi studies and we are to the point she just refuses to eat. So I will wear my flame retardant suit proudly.

    Ds1 got rice cereal (gasp!)... I'm not even sure blw was a thing back then. And I was a dumb ftm who just went with what the doctor said. He was the practice baby! Lol

    I don't think anyone would judge you for this since there's an actual medical reason for it. And anyway I was totally just kidding to be funny since I know it's a hot topic, but personally I don't really care when moms decide to do this. Although some stories about starting at 7 weeks & stuff are crazy.

    Meh, that's my exception to the rule. My sister had to do it with her son when he was 4 months because of severe acid reflux. He was on special formula and the highest dosage of reflux meds they could give him and it didn't work. It sucks, but it is necessary sometimes. I think most of us are anti rice cereal when it comes to just giving it to them to make them sleep longer, etc.
    This. My LO has been having rice added for 3 weeks because of sever reflux. She's on nutramigen and Zantac we've had 3 gi studies nothing working. We added rice as directed by the pedi gi doc and boom she's totally fine!!

    NHIE done any kind of drug.
    NHIE lived with my parents (grandparents adopted me)
    NHIE wanted to sleep so flipping much
