I have stopped trying to figure this child out. She is all over the place, and always has been The last 2 nights she slept from 730 pm- 5 am, which is awesome. For several weeks before that, she was up 1-4 times every night. I'm so tired.
Edit to add: I'm sure that these last 2 nights were a fluke. I'm not going to get excited, because she has done this before, many times.
Every single night dd manages to get up every 2-4 hours. We have been moving into our new place this weekend and she finally has her own room so we are going to start sleep training once everything is settled. Hopefully it works out
BFP#1- April 24th. M/c-April 30th. BFP#2-September 11th. EDD: May 25th.
It's a girl!!! (:
Madison arrived on May 19th at 6:35 am (:
My boy cries every time he rolls over. It doesn't last long just long enough to wake me up. He sleeps in his own room and I don't use a monitor.

DD has been hit or miss for a few months. Recently she started waking consistently at midnight and it would take between 1-3 hrs to get her back down. I decided it was time to see if letting her CIO for a few minutes would help. So far it seems to. She cries for no more than 5-6 minutes. We've stuck to this for motn waking a too.
3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13
LO still wakes up every few hours. It's not too bad though because she is only up for a few minutes and then falls back to sleep. I think I'm just used to it at this point.
B has been so inconsistent! He was STTN for quite awhile, and it was fabulous. Now all of a sudden, he's up in the MOTN for a bottle. Sometimes I'll wait a few minutes to see if he'll fall asleep on his own, but if he starts freaking out, I go in and feed him. I'm attributing it to teething.
Emmett is all over the place also. He has never slept more than 8 hours though. The last two nights he slept for 8 hours, ate, and slept 3 more. The two night before that, he was up every 2-3 hours. I can't figure him out! Usually when he's feeling well he will sleep well, but since he's sick 95% I the time, we don't get many of those nights!
We had never STTN before his tubes and now he's giving us 9-11 hours. Now he'll give us a solid night but is wide awake at 6am. Looks like I need to go to bed earlier. But after 9.5 months of getting up multiple times a night I'm very happy.

We are back to STTN recently. But it always just depends on his ear. No pain = 11hrs of sleep and 2-3 hrs nap during the day. Ear pain = sleeping 6-7 hrs and waking, getting more motrin and sleeping 3 more hours but naps are a struggle.
Interesting. My sign that Jack has an ear infection is when he starts waking up at night out of the blue.

This is us too. Took DS to the pedi te other day after 3 nights of rough sleep. She looked at me like I was crazy when I said he had no cold symptoms and was getting 5 teeth. She said it was the teeth and then looked to find a double ear infection. We haven't gotten back into the groove of sleeping longer which makes me think the antibiotic didn't work

They told us it would take about 36 hours before it would improve. We are almost at 36 hours and he keeps shrugging his little shoulders up to his ears so I know they are still bothering him. I think they itch or something. Maybe it takes a bit longer for it to improve.
It's only been the last 2 week she has actually STTN. Nothing changed. They seem to just do it when they are ready. I have tried to figure her out and just when I think I have something changes. :-/

We're STTN after training, but it seems sporadically she still takes a good 20 minutes of crying to settle down. About 8pm-6am. She wakes up every 3 when teething.
B still isn't sleeping through the night. He's usually up sometime between 11-12:30 to nurse then again sometime between 2:30-4. Thankfully he nurses and falls right back to sleep but I'm really ready to sleep longer than 3 hours at a time.
We had an improvement and I got him to drop his 11pm wake up two weeks ago (with a few bad nights of CIO), and we were down to 1 wake up around 2/3am and then back down until 7/8am.
We are regressing back to the old schedule since I think his two canines are coming in at the same time.
So much for that, one step forward, and one big one BACK!
If he sleeps in bed with me, I can get 5 hours in a row (hooray sleeping next to the food source!) If he sleeps in the crib, I get 2-3 hours out of him. I don't believe in sleep training, so I just keep hoping he'll start sleeping longer and need to nurse less eventually

I thought that since she recently dropped her 3rd nap she'd need to go down earlier but that is not the case. Who knows!!??!!
