people tell me that I am going to worry SO MUCH MORE once the baby gets here. It happened during the last pregnancy too, where I'd fret if I hadn't felt him move for a while, and people would say "Oh, just wait till he's born, the worry never ends!!"
No, actually, because when they're born you can look at them and see that they're alive and breathing and okay. When they're still in utero, I have to do things like drink cold water to feel him move and check my underwear for amniotic fluid. Yeah, there are different things to worry about when they're born, but there's nothing like that fear you have when the baby hasn't kicked in a while.
