GMD fitteds....shrinkage?

I bought 4 red edge ones to bring babe into after he outgrows his newborn which apparently should go to 12 ish lbs. They look huge but I'm guessing they will shrink just like prefolds do once I prep them? Just curious!

    My prefolds shrunk quite a bit. I would guess the WHs would also, since they are made out of the prefolds.

    I just prepped my NB fitteds, and they definitely shrink in size, but "puff up" greatly…
    So it's like they decrease in length/width but increase in thickness as they get more quilted and absorbent, just like PFs.
