Would you tip?

We're having new appliances delivered (big heavy stuff, like a stove and washer). Would you tip the delivery men? We're not sure is it's common to tip them or not.

I usually do. They can grab  lunch or a drink after work.

When we had our washer and dryer delivered they had to bring them upstairs. I gave each a ten and a bottle of water (offered them a beer first )

We did. We figured it was better to be safe than sorry!

Yes - $5 or $10 bucks. I figure enough to at least cover a coffee.

We just had a play structure delivered today, in 4 separate boxes (600lbs total according to the delivery slip).  DH helped the guy carry the boxes in to the garage and we gave the guy $10.
