AW- awesome nap today

DS has been napping for 2 1/2 hours.  That's an amazing thing in my house.  I feel like I just got half the day off!  What's going well for you today?

LOL.  I knew as soon as I posted this, he would wake up.  He literally started making noises immediately after I hit "post."

Ds went to sleep around midnight last night and then woke up shortly before 6 and was bright eyed and bushy tailed until around 9.  I got him to take a nap with me for the next 3 hours.  I could still use an afternoon nap but I'll leave that one to him.

I'm so sorry @SecretAgentKate!  That is incredibly stressful.  Hopefully this will open him up to a better opportunity in the near future!

Um, nothing. DH called me to tell me he didn't do the dishes like I had asked and that he also caused the toilet overflow, making water go all over the floor. He threw towels on the floor but didn't clean it up b/c he had to rush to work.  Lovely. Just lovely.

But I'm glad you're kid is napping!! What are you doing with all your free time?

SAK, yikes! Was it out of the blue, or did he have any heads-up?

DS has been napping for almost 3 hours. It's surreal. I have managed to order 2 barstools, a charm pack of fabric for DS2's baby quilt, and 4 diaper covers. I also did some other online research, and my head hurts from trying to figure out if I really want to spend $20+ each on Applecheeks or Softbums so that we'll will have some pockets for DH to use on DS2. If we're using them as pockets, we might as well just get Swaddlebees, right? Argh.

Our patio furniture got delivered a day early, and my cleaning lady signed for it. This makes me happy because I have to take my mom into town tomorrow and dad was going to have to stay home with the crazy dog and handle the delivery, which probably would not have gone well.

Dad and I spent the afternoon getting everything out of boxes and assembled. We now have furniture in our back garden! Woohoo!

ETA: So sorry, SAK! Hope YH finds something else soon.

Where do you live, you lucky lady, that you are setting up furniture outside?! We had temps of -11 this morning.

@JEPES1348 - Minus 11?! Yuck!!! Our high was 55 here, and I still decided to hang the laundry to dry inside rather than outside.
