NBR: Whelp, time for a new computer....

I had a water incident while attempting to pump and burp LO this morning and now my Mac won't turn on. It's 41/2 years old, so we had a good run. I'm thinking PC for the next one due to price and I basically use it for internet browsing and pic storage. I had photoshop on it and opened it twice, so yeah. Anyone recently get a new computer/have recommendations?

UG I hate computer shopping!!! But we recently had to replace my laptop.  We ended up with an all-in-one without a tower, I like it so far.  It's got a big touch screen....let's see, I really suck at computer info, but it has an intel corei5, and is an HP and has beats audio... was about 1000 bucks after we bought Word, Excel etc...  Good luck finding one you love!  I wanted one I could store lots of documents and pictures on (I work in real estate) and one that is fast enough to navigate between multiple windows/tabs on the internet at one time quickly.  So far it's doing great.

We just bought the HP All-In-One Touch Screen desktop. I really like it so far. I'm just trying to learn the ins and outs of Windows 8.

I'm sorry about your laptop! I spilled my bottles water on me and sleeping L a few weeks ago. I didn't ruin a computer but I had a very unhappy LO!

I severely dislike Windows 8. We bought a Toshiba laptop last year and it died a few months ago. It may have been a freak bad one but I still wouldn't recommend one.

@AshleyM0125‌ that sucks u had such bad luck with the toshiba. I LOVE toshiba laptops. The one I'm using now, I've had since 08 and the one before that was going for 4 years till I replaced it with a new one.

I'm struggling with an all in one because I'd love something more portable.... And I agree, I'm not a win 8 fan, DH has it on his tablet and windows screwed up making it so different! We have 7 at work, so much better. I appreciate the insights, sounds like I'm off to Best Buy tomorrow!
