I'm sorry you got this news this morning. Ditto on the PP about maturity. For this cycle I had 2 that weren't mature but they matured overnight & then the ICSI'ed them the following day & they fertilized. Perhaps they may be able to do the same with your remaining 4 eggs.
I've had low retrival rates both IVFs, in my clinic they will do a 2 day transfer in cases like this if there are only 2 & that's what you were planning on transferring. They go with the theory of they are better in the uterus than in the lab waiting until day 3 or 5. Is this an option the discussed with you? It's something to think about. It makes for a longer more difficult 2WW though.
Hugs, so sorry you are delaing with this! :-(

Of the 3 that weren't able to be injected, 1 wasn't mature, and the other two deteriorated almost immediately which I'm told is due to quality issues.
Of the 3 that were mature but didn't fertilize normally- we are blaming that on my chromosomal issue which makes fertilization possible, but further division impossible/severely slowed. In your siggy I see that your DH has a microdeletion- could that have had something to do with low fertilization rates?
Also, to ech what PP said- since we only had 1 embryo, we did a 2dt, bc really, why not. There's still hope, and I will be thinking of you and crossing my fingers that you can do a transfer and get good news in a couple of weeks!!
