@almostamissus- We've been NTNP, but I will be active on DH's health insurance effective 4/1, so the craziness will begin then!

@KJsbabe- That's good to know about the expired OPKs! I will keep those, too, even though I just ordered a 50 pack off Amazon. You can never have too many OPKs!

@MoreThanSparrows08- Vive La Resistance! I won't last much longer, though.

@rmpar29- Thanks! I am inching closer to the Dark Side everyday, lol!

Well, no IUI tomorrow.  We are so close though, just one more injection and a monitoring appointment tomorrow and then I hope to have an IUI scheduled.  I'm not sure if they do them on Sundays, but should be Monday.

Hi ladies! Sorry I don't have a lot of time right now to reply to everyone, but I'm so excited we've got this group going over here

How did your egg retrieval go? FX you got some good ones!

I know a lot of you are over on TTCAL or lurk over there so this is a XP for those that might have already seen it...

But it went very well! 7 retrieved, but only 3 mature, but of those all 3 fertilized and are growing well! Tomorrow is day 3 and I will likely - hopefully - be transferring 2 tomorrow!! Dr. said that there was a very small chance I might get a call that we could wait to day 5 if they were doing really well, but I think that's very unlikely.

Of course I also know this could end tomorrow - for all I know all three could arrest.... I'm trying not to think that way, but I'm also trying to prepare myself for that possibility.

But as of this moment I'm really excited for my first transfer ever! And it really is so exciting to think I have 3 little embryos growing right now!!

QOTW: Just snuggle. I know that doesn't sound like much, but really, I am such a hugger/snuggler kind of person. I could lie around and cuddle my little guy all day long. He's growing so fast and that fear that I won't ever have another one.... it just make me hold him tighter and longer as much as I can.

I have a question for you ladies. . Is there a specific time that you have found to be most accurate temps..i get that they need to be at the same time..i am not sure if my body is subconsciously waking up but I feel like my temps are way different if I take it spontaneously earlier or later then when i set my alarm. any thoughts?

Quick update from me: Didn't hear from my OB last week so I'm calling Monday morning. That will be 2 weeks from my blood draw so surely the labs will be back. Hoping I can catch her before she is out for her maternity leave. Also, on to cycle #2 today as AF arrived first thing this morning. Disappointed but moving on. Just hoping we will be able to have decent timing...my H travels for work weekly so it gets hard to hit the right days some months. I'm going to temp this month. (Only used OPKs this past cycle.)

@sergeantb44‌ I don't know if the actual "time" matters so much. Just how much sleep/movement before you take it. I usually set my alarm for an 1 or 2 before I normally get up. I take my temp and go back to sleep. I have also read that taking your temp vaginally produces much more consistent results so there's that...
I do know what you mean, if I wake up for some reason an hour before I usually take my temp, I'll take it anyway. But it's always substantially different than what my "normal" time would say. (If that makes sense? lol)

@sergeantb44‌ Generally speaking your temps are going to be lower earlier in the morning and higher later in the morning. One time isn't really more accurate than another, but that's why it's important to temp at the same time each day. If you were to temp at different times each morning it would be harder to see the overall pattern to your chart. Just pick a time and try to stick with it. I temp at 6:20 and try to keep it within a 20 min time frame around that. Fertility Friend talks a bit about it here https://www.fertilityfriend.com/Faqs/#/Faqs/Temperature-Adjusting.html

@sereantb44 I agree with the other posters - it's not necessarily a specific time of day; it's just that your temp should be taken at approximately the same time each day before getting out of bed.

Here's a little about me...I have 3 ds. They are 10, 11, and 13 years old. They are 16 months apart to the day except for our youngest ds whose a day sooner

Thanks for doing this check-in! Unfortunately I had a BFN this cycle and I was surprised that I took it really hard. But its the first cycle off the bench and I have avoided thinking about anything to do with ttc until now.
I have an appt on the 28 th with the RE so pretty excited about that.

My favorite activity right now with dd is going to the park. We've been shut in all winter so I love seeing her run around.
