So ds will be 18 months old when this baby arrives. I'm working on my registry because I want the completion coupons. What items did you wish you had and didn't get? What items did you find not so helpful?
Currently, I've got my car seat and stroller picked out. I don't have a monitor right now because we only had one baby. But I've always wished i had one. Will a two camera system work if the babies are not sharing the same room?
I'm getting a new pump through my insurance, but I need to replace my bottles. For some reason, BBB, BRU, and Amazon don't have the Avent style at the moment. Is Tommee Tippy worth the cost? I used to like the Platex glass, but they changed the shape and now they leak like crazy and nothing I did helped.
We cloth diaper, and mostly use sized diapers, so other than supplementing my stash with a few girly covers if this baby is a girl, I'm good on the diaper front. What about a changing table? I haven't used one with just DS, should I with two? Our bathroom is MUCH too small to put anything in there. But the kids have built in dressers currently right now so I don't even have a surface to put a pad on.
I'm looking for your suggestions! Thanks in advance!
We're Going to be a Family of 5!

Re: Two babies and Questions?
We have the motorola video monitor and it came with two cameras. They do not have to be in the same room. You just set up both cameras and the parent unit shows the picture from whatever room you set the cameras in. They are easy to install and I have never had any problems with them.
I use Tommee Tippee bottles and I love them. If I were you, get the 9 oz ones. If you get the 5 oz, you may have to buy the 9 oz later once LO drinks 6-8 oz of formula. They are also very easy to clean.
The only item I got that was a serious waste of time was a wipes warmer. Nobody has time for that. LOL.
I just have a regular audio baby monitor, no fancy video cameras. This works fine with me. I only needed one in the babies room, not the toddlers. If I had 2 kids sharing a room I might like a video monitor to check on them, to make sure toddler isn't bothering the baby.
If you've gone this long without a changing table, then I guess you don't really need one. I have one in the nursery and I have a changing pad to use downstairs.
As far as anything else you might need, I think it's personal preference. I bought a 2nd boppy b/c with my first baby I was always taking it up and down stairs. But I ended up not using it nearly as much with baby2 b/c I was more comfortable with BFing. I also bought extra burp cloths and washcloths.
My kids are also 18months apart and girl boy, but even if I had a 2nd girl I still would have needed to buy some clothes b/c they are in opposite seasons.
Also if you don't already have a baby carrier you will definitely want one for chasing after your toddler. I used a baby ktan for newborn stage and then an ergo. I Love the ergo!
My boys are 19 months apart...so opposite seasons and a lot of new clothes. Some of the sleepers and onesies I was able to use, but a snowsuit in June or shorts in January just doesn't work.
Bottles...do not stock up on anything. I like Tommee Tippee and use them for this baby but both my boys liked different ones. Wait, maybe buy a 3 pack of that and another brand to start with. Nuk and Dr Brown's seem popular at daycare.
