I've Made A Checklist...

Of all the steps we have between now and being licensed. And it is shorter than I thought it would be! DH and I are on our last questionnaire (13 pages of questions that require multiple paragraph answers!). We have our medical exam scheduled for next Wednesday and we are registering this week for the online courses that we are taking. After we get the last scraps of paperwork in to the agency, we will have our individual interviews scheduled. Then it's just the home visit!
Am I being too optimistic to think that this might be the light at the end of the tunnel? We've been stuck in this journey for 3 and a half years. I just can't get over the fact that we might be finished in a couple of months!

  • Optimism is a good thing! GL getting it all done

  • @Pinkie78 It's been 3.5 years since we have been TTC, so that includes a year of trying naturally, then our infertility diagnosis, a whole lot of running around with the government foster/adopt agency, and finally moving on to this new agency. We started with them this January.
  • Exactly. And that's why it feels like becoming active with this agency can't come soon enough. Sure, we have only been with them for a couple of months, but the whole journey has been much longer. And there is no telling how long we will have to wait for a match.
  • Best of luck!!!
