WTF Lice outbreak at DD's preschool. It's in the 3s class and she's in the 2s, but the two classes merge a lot. She doesn't have anything yet but now we're paranoid. I just bought a lice kit. Ugh.
@LTMama, Put hairspray or something in her hair and pull it back. There's also something called Fairy Tales (I think) that helps prevent lice infestations.
Thanks!! I'll load her hair up tomorrow. Ick.

I just scratched my head. Luckily my kids haven't had it yet, but they do sell a product called lice shield or lice guard and it has an oil in it that lice are repelled from...load DDs head up each day before school
Thanks! That explains why a bunch of the kids today looked like their hair was oiled.

WTF stomach! I just made it to 2 weeks without vomiting, and then got violently I'll after eating Fazoli's tonight. I was getting accustomed to not throwing up.
WTF UPS man?! everytime you come and have to have me sign off on a delivery I tell you "just one moment as I put my 85lb dog away" and everytime I come back you're hopping into your car to drive off!! SERIOUSLY I WILL JUST LET MY DOG TACKLE YOU WITH WET KISSES NEXT TIME!
WTF Amazon, usually you and I are besties! But when I ordered my BF's son a present for his 5th birthday, it's kind of a let down to hear he excitedly opened the box to find an iPhone accessory and some management book. Thanks for putting someone else's order in his box, and not including the toys I purchased.
And to throw insult to injury, DD screamed the entire time I was on the phone with Amazon trying to rectify the situation. WTF DD, why do you act like a catastrophic event is going down every time I get on the phone?! The minute I hung up she walked away to go play all happy. Gah!!!

Wtf mid wife's office. You DO NOT call a pregnant lady and leave a message saying to "please call us back as soon as you can." And then leave me on hold for ten minutes when I do! Ten minutes is plenty of time for me to panic over all of the things that could be wrong with my baby. Turns out I just have a bacteria that I need to go on antibiotics for, but holy cow was I freaking out! Not cool.
Totally relate. Last week I got a message from the Dr saying to call back ASAP with my pharmacy information. Holy freak out. I just needed to add a Vitamin D supplement.
Oh good, so it's not just me! First my OB said they would NOT call with my test results - they would just review them at my appt this fri. So when I got got a vmail from a nurse saying, and I quote, "I am calling because we have your test results and I need to, um, go over them with you and give you some instructions," I had a blood pressure spike while I waited for you to return my call back. W. T. F. Way to make a fairly laid back girl into a basket case.
ETA: She also said to call back as soon as possible, and called me AGAIN a couple hours later (I had not yet even seen my message bc work was hectic). All to tell me test results came back normal and I need my next bloodwork by April 4. Thanks.
