Tyler or Caleb?

Which name do you prefer- Tyler or Caleb?

Big sister is Delaney/Laney.

These are not my top choices but the only names H and I agree on.

MN will be Brian but I am NOT concerned about flow.

I'm leaning towards Tyler because I like nicknames (Caleb doesn't really have a natural nn) and I think it flows better with Delaney. H likes Caleb more.

(Okay I can't figure out how to make this a poll on mobile- sorry!)

Even though my own DS is Tyler, I really like Caleb, couldn't use it since it's the name of a close friend's son though. I do love Ty, to bad DS doesn't.

Caleb.  I think you can use Cal for Caleb, which I like.

Hmmm...I think I would give a slight edge to Tyler. Though if you're going for a more classic feel, I'd choose Caleb.

Personally I like the name Caleb better but I actually think Laney and Tyler sounds better than Laney and Caleb and I like Tyler Brian better than Caleb Brian. So Tyler gets my vote!

Caleb is DH's top pick if a boy.  I like it just fine.  Tyler seems a little dated  I think Caleb and Laney sound good together.

Is it because of the long A sound? I think I'm drawn to some names because of that (DH vetoed the others Jacob, Grayson, etc) but our last name is Chambers which also has the long A so I think it all flows nicely? Maybe I'm thinking too hard! Haha

Caleb head and shoulders above Tyler. James Dean's character in East of Eden is Cal with the full name of Caleb. Tyler seems so dated in comparison to such a classic name.
