wtf signature ticker thing?

So, I used to have a ticker, but I don't know where it went. I'm trying to get another ticker up, but it's just coming up as html code or whatever. How do I get my ticker up and running?

Go to the right hand side of you screen and click the little person icon. Click preferences. Then you can paste in whatever you want.
