On the border, district lines for elementary

I was so curious about what elementary school DS will go to for Kindergarten next school year and I pulled up a district map. It turns out we live on the border between 2 elementary schools!

Do we get to choose which one or will the district assign us an elementary?

Hmm. I was teasing DH and told him to watch us be on the border between 2 elementary schools without looking at a map. It actually surprised me when I actually researched it.

We do have an IEP that will follow into Kindergarten. I will ask around through our autism support group.
