LO and I are sick!:(

I was so grateful that LO and I had not gotten sick yet with the nasties. However that all changed as of last night! . Poor O I feel so helpless as he can barely breath. Anyways what has helped you guys with sickness humidifier, saline drops and baby rub?

Ugh, sorry. That was us last week. Vicks is actually not recommended for babies. I found this page on Kellymom that has lots of good suggestions, even if you aren't BFing.

I am with you! LO is just starting to get over his cold and now I have it.  

-I have him sleeping in his RNP so he is at an incline

-humidifier

-vicks plug in for comfort cause we have it (but I don't think it really helps)

-sit in the bathroom while DH takes his shower

-saline drops and bulb suction thingy ( I would get a nose frida but we are 40 minuets from BRU, so next cold we hopefully will have it)

-frequent feedings to keep up fluids

-lots of cuddles and kisses!

I agree with all of the above and am in the same boat (on vacation too, boo)...the hot shower steam works wonders, and I even take LO in the shower with me, and make it warm not hot and that helped both of us a ton!
