How long was your LO in an infant carseat?

I bring my son to daycare and my husband picks him up. So there would be a daily need to take it out of the car.

We left our bucket at daycare during the day for the switch.  I felt comfortable with it because if there was an emergency, the DCP would have a safe way to transport my son if I couldn't get there in time.  She'd also put him in it to take him in walks outside (with the stoller).  

DS1 was in the bucket for 7ish months?  He outgrew it for height (95%), but I probably could have squeezed another few months out of it if I hadn't gotten our Radian on sale around then.  I loved the convenience of the bucket, and I'm looking forward to using it with DS2.

Yeah, we left ours at daycare too. I'm not sure how else my husband could have gotten it from me. Most parents who split drop off/pick up did that there.
