I am sure that you all have had questions like this many times, so any help you can give would be great.
My 9 month old will only sleep with me and gets hysterical if I try to put her in her crib. I am good with her sleeping with me, but am worried that it isn't too safe. Can any of you give me some co-sleeping guidelines or a good place to read up on them?
Thank you for all your help!
Re: Co-Sleeping
safe cosleeping guidelines
safe cosleeping habits
you can always google dr. james mckenna for more info, he's an expert on mother-infant sleep and there are lots of videos and interviews with him.
your DD is a little bit older, so you don't have to worry as much about her getting caught under the blankets, because she'd be able to swat them away. i would say the main things to watch out for at this age would be to make sure you the bed is set up so she can't roll or crawl off (either set up a bedrail or have the bed against the wall, or have the whole mattress on the floor), and make sure you/your partner never sleep with your LO when under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
