Ladies may I join you?

H and I have been TTC since May 2012.  We had our first RE appointment last week.  In addition to my already known dx of Hashimotos, I was dx with PCOS.  I had labs this am to check for insulin resistance.  H has a varicocele and low counts.  We are prepping to go forward with IVF with ICSI. Forgive me as I'm still learning the jargon.

On a personal note both H and I are 36. We have 3 cats who are our furry children. I'm a nurse and do diabetes education.  I look forward to learning from you and getting to know you all.  :)

 Hashimoto's with irregular cycles  DH- 37 Severe oligoasthenoteratozoospermia

TTC since May 2012

HSG- all clear

March 2014 - RE appt. 
April 2014- Saline sono all's good, terrible SA results - 8 sperm found all abnormal
May 2014- Fert Urology- Bilateral varicoceles, recommend Donor Sperm
12/2014-  Surprise natural BFP  EDD 7/31/15 Plan:  Starting foster to adoption, natural cycles

    TTC #2 with assistance since 03/11
    Me: 33, Autoimmune (Hashimotos and FMS/CFS)
    Treated with Synthroid, acupuncture, TCM and supplements
    DH: 33, MFI (very low on all counts, high antibodies, hemochromatosis)
    Many treatments tried, none successful

    IVF/ICSI #1 05/14 - EPP/Antagonist, Gonal-F and Luveris, 18R, 14M, 13F - SET of 1BC, all arrested on day 5 - C/P
    Genetic testing = normal, DNA Frag = excellent
    IVF #2 03/15 - Long protocol with Suprefact, Gonal-F, and possibly Luveris, adding in PICSI

    We're hoping for July, we have to see specialty urology and I'm waiting on AF with my irregular cycles to do a saline sonogram.

    Welcome, and ditto about Hanging onto a Dream! I'm also 36 and we started TTC in May 2012 as well. :D

    ***Losses mentioned.*** TTC #1 since May 2012. Me: 37, OH: 41. Ectopic August 2012 => tubal damage. :'(  Stage 1 endo removed June 2013. IVF #1 Oct/Nov 2013: Long Lupron with Gonal-F. 7R, 7M, 7F. 2 txfer@3d. Nothing frozen.  => M/C @ 8 wks. :'( Selected RPL panel all normal. Very hyper and brittle response to stims. IVF #2 (antagonist protocol) Feb 2014 => Converted to IUI (Perfect conditions). BFN. IVF #2.1 w/ new RE June 2014: Antagonist protocol. 33R, 31M, 30F, 19 blasts to test!!! I made it through without crashing!! :) Hats off to Dr. Fancypants!! ET of one 5AB blast. BFN. 13 10 CCS'ed snowflakes! FET #1 PUPO as of 7/29 Betas: 8/7@24, 8/9@97, 8/11@334 (etc.) Two sacs on 8/15, one seen on 8/18 after a bleed. U/s 8/25 (6+3) "perfect": 5.9 mm + HB@120bpm! U/s 9/4 (7+6): 15.9 mm + HB@172 bpm! Please, PLEASE stick this time!!!!

    Congrats! It's exciting taking that step and meeting with an RE. You'll learn a ton from the women on this board, nothing to much from me though as our diagnosis are totally different. I'm 36 too. I have insulin resistance and had to work with a perinatogist to get cleared before I could cycle. Do you deal with that type if thing or straight up type 1 or 2? I haven't heard anyone talk about the blood sugars thing here, have been thinking I should put a question out to the group to see who else is dealing with it. Anyway, congrats on taking the step of meeting with the RE! Here's to the next chapter in baby making for you and your husband!

    IVF #2 - 2/2014 - Fingers crossed this is the one!

    4ER/3EF/3 "beautiful embryos" transferred - Beta March 7 = BFN :(

    Me: 40,DH: 48, Married 10/07/2011, TTC since 09/2011, 03/2012 Started Clomid, 04/2012     Clomid, 05/2012 Clomid, 06/2012 Went to RE, he found a plum size fibroid in uterus, husband has low sperm count, 06/06/2012 Removed fibroid, 08/2012 Hysteroscopy
    IVF #1 October 2012 - Retrieved 8 eggs, 5 fertilized, 10/13/2012 Transferred 3 embryos - 8, 5, and 4 cells,     the other 2 eggs did not survive freezing, 10/26/2012 BFP!! Beta: 11, 10/26/12 Beta: 2 = Chemical Pregnancy
    IVF #2 - March 2014 - Mini IVF - Retrieved 5 eggs, 4 fertilized, 4 Frosties - 8, 9, 7, and 7 cells all in good condition. 
    IVF #3 - May 2014 - Mini IVF - Retrieved 2 eggs, 2 fertilized, 2 Frosties - 6 and 8 in good condition. 
    FET #1 - September 2014 - Transferred 2 embryos - both 8 cells - BFN
    FET#2 - November 2014 - Transferred 2 embryos - BFN

    IVF #1 January 2014:  25 retrieved; 21 fertilized; 11 made it to day 5, all frozen due to OHSS
    FET#1: March 1, 2014 BFP! 
    Beta 1 @ 9dp5dt: 139; Beta 2 @ 11dp5dt 335; Beta 3 @ 19dp5dt: 7,479

    Ultrasound 4/2/2014:  2 bugs hanging out!!! It's TWINS!

    I'm a straight up type 1 and 2 diabetes care manager.  I work mostly with type 2 but have a few type 1 on insulin pumps that I follow also.  I'd be more then happy to answer blood sugar questions.  :)

     TTC since May 2011, 1 year trying, and then 3 TI, 2 IUI = BFN
    IVF #1 (May 2013):  Antagonist Protocol: 
    24R, 18M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 2 early blasts, no frosties = BFN
     IVF #2 (August 2013):  Lupron Stop Protocol: 
    28R, 23M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 1 partially hatched blast, 7 frosties = BFP
    EDD 5/23/14, blighted ovum (6w6d), D&C (8w6d)
    FET #1 (April 2014):  transferred 2 5d blasts = BFP
