Post D&C: Headaches?

This is my 2nd early pregnancy miscarriage.  The first one I had last November was natural and my most recent one was a D&C almost 2 weeks ago.  I've been getting fairly regular headaches since my D&C and I really never had headaches before.  Is this common?  Did the quickness of having a D&C simply throw my hormones out of whack and my body is quickly trying to return to a non-pregnant state?  If any of you have had a similar experience or know the reason why, please chime in.  I go in for my follow-up on Wednesday so will ask my OB then.

I'm not exactly sure, but I've read that post-partum headaches can be terrible, so maybe it's the same thing.

I had them. They were more like migraines and they were awful and painful and nothing really helped them go away. I was told it was the fluctuating of hormones.

I had them as well, my OB said they are normal after D&C cause of our hormones all of a sudden being slammed around. My lingered for a few days. Hang in there

Apparently it takes some weeks for all the hormones to settle after a miscarriage.  I has a D&C last week and suffered from terrible cramps and light bleeding/discharge. I'm definitely experiencing headaches too this week, but I think its all to do with the upset hormones and not so much the D&C. Stay strong!
