That could have ended tragically.

When H and I moved into our apartment before Lily was born, we told the complex about a window that did not fit the frame quite right. Fast forward to warm days, and we find out that our airconditioner freezes up every time you turn it on. Well, fast forward today, a completely beautiful and warm day, and our apartment is 77 degrees inside. I decided to open windows. We prop the one the doesn't quite stay up, but it has never been dangerous in the past. Lily decided to pull the prop. When she did that, it pulled the whole window out on top of her. After visiting her daddy in the ER, we know she is okay, but the following is how lucky we are that she is.

  • Glad she's ok. That couldve ended badly. When I was 10months old, I somehow crawled my way to a mirror, pushed on it causing it to fall and it shattered on my face and I almost died from it. Still have a scar on my face feom it. My little pet rock isn't crawling yet but I'm sure i'll be extremely paranoid about where she crawls to bc of this.

  • I'm glad she's ok. I would be pissed, too.
  • Oh my goodness! I'm so glad she is ok! I'm glad you're demanding they fix it NOW!
  • You should make your complex pay your ER co-pay since it was their fault that you had to go. So glad she's ok! Hope they fix the window fast.
  • So glad your sweet baby is ok, how scary!!!!
