1st Trimester

road trip!

Husband and I are driving with DS on a two-day trek to visit his family.

My m/s set in this morning really bad and I spent 20 minutes puking at a rest stop.

All the bloat has migrated to my feet and they are so swollen they fell asleep.

I have to pee every 45 minutes and am severely tempted to start peeing in a bottle so we don't have to keep stopping.

BUT! We just passed the Peachoid and as a House of Cards fan, I was super happy because I knew what it was!!!

Re: road trip!

  • Watch your sodium intake during the drive. Walk around when you can. Drink a lot of water, even if that means you have to pee that much worse... but it is super important and can help with your swelling.

I took a 14 hour drive last time when pg in 1st tri and I swelled up something horrible!
