This is the weekly June '14 PgAL check-in. This is a place for anyone due June 2014 that has suffered a previous pregnancy loss. PgAL is an exciting but scary place so please feel free to share your thoughts, concerns, milestones and vents. Mostly, this check-in is to remind all of us that we are not alone in the journey and to offer support along the way. Check-in is every Saturday.

Question #2: How long should we continue this check-in? My thought was until everyone has their rainbows. My EDD is early in the months so the check-ins might not be as in depth after LO comes unless someone else want to help up but I should be fine. What are your thoughts?

@kimmyberly26: Thanks for asking; I don't have anterior placenta, so I should be feeling everything fine. I felt him a lot more this week; I think I was really stressed out last week. Plus sometimes I can feel him kicking my bladder, and that's a little harder to sense than when he's facing so that he can kick my belly . . . .

Got the courage to buy anything yet / What were/are you most excited about purchasing? No. We've still bought NOTHING. A lot of this is due to work busy-ness. . . I'm excited to get ANYTHING, really! Onesies?

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Freaked out!!! I just got my GD 1-hour test, and it was 170. Of course, then I look online and discover that I did the test wrong if I wanted to pass. I took it at 4PM, after I'd eaten most of my meals for the day. ARGHAGHGAHGAH! I wish this kind of thing didn't make me so anxious . . . . I have this need for everything to be PERFECT . . . .

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I guess I'll probably have to do my 3-hour GD test at some point . . . .

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Oh, just anxious when I don't feel him moving too much . . . .

Any baby awesomeness this week? I got a video of my belly moving!

QOTW – Tell me about your family…parents, siblings, pets, whatever you are comfortable to share. I have an identical twin sister! She's awesome . .. . except when she's not. I have two older siblings that I'm not as close to, but who are still nice people. My parents are very lovely people and I love them a lot, and they did a great job with their kids. But of course I still have gripes with some of the parenting things they did.

Question #2: How long should we continue this check-in? My thought was until everyone has their rainbows. My EDD is early in the months so the check-ins might not be as in depth after LO comes unless someone else want to help up but I should be fine. What are your thoughts? I like keeping it up until we've got them in our arms, happy and healthy . . . .

Got the courage to buy anything yet / What were/are you most excited about purchasing? Haven't bought anything. We are now holding out until after our showers. My first one is in 3 weeks.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? I feel like crap today. I have a nasty cold and I want to stay in bed, but I have to work. So if anyone has amazing cold remedies they want to share, I will love you forever! Other than that, it's been a rough week with BH. I have had a lot and they always worry me.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I will be taking my glucose test next week and then an appointment on the 28th.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Nothing this week.

Any baby awesomeness this week? Our receptionist was helping me do something with my computer when the baby was super active. I had her feel and she started crying. She was so excited! It was really cute.

QOTW – Tell me about your family…parents, siblings, pets, whatever you are comfortable to share.

I am the youngest of four. My oldest sister is 9 years older than me, but we are the closest. I have another sister and brother. My brother is 16 months older and we grew up super close. Unfortunately, my SIL put a huge strain on our relationship about 5 years ago and, although we've tried rebuilding our relationship, it just hasn't gotten back to the way it was. I have a 16 year old niece, 14 year old nephew and 2.5 year old niece. I love them like crazy. My nephew is my sister's and he is so excited for our baby. He tells me he can't wait to drive him to school!

Question #2: How long should we continue this check-in? My thought was until everyone has their rainbows. My EDD is early in the months so the check-ins might not be as in depth after LO comes unless someone else want to help up but I should be fine. What are your thoughts? I agree. Keep it until we have our little ones.

Got the courage to buy anything yet?
Yes finally! Crib and many many items of clothing. Paint for the nursery also!

What were/are you most excited about purchasing? My DH really wanted to buy a mini chandelier light for her room. He was so excited about it so it really made me happy and super excited too. I love seeing him get so excited.
How are you feeling physically/emotionally?
Good on both fronts. Feeling movement frequently is helping with any doubts. Just wishing for the best and getting ready!

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share?
Next appointment is a few weeks away for my glucose test. Yay....

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Strangely I've been feeling really good about everything. Which of course at night keeps me up slightly worried. I just can't wait until she's here, and in my arms.

Any baby awesomeness this week? Last week DH finally got to feel the kicks!! It was so great that it finally happened! I think he was getting jealous.

I've got the best most supportive parents that I don't know what I would do without. They're rock stars and have been so amazing with everything. I've got some half siblings but they love far away. And 3 dogs! I can't wait to see how the dynamic changes once the baby gets here. The dogs are all so spoiled and I hope they're protective of the baby and not jealous.

How far along are you? 27 weeks today!

Team / Name? Blue/frontrunner right now is Canon Matthew, but nothing is decided for sure yet.

Got the courage to buy anything yet / What were/are you most excited about purchasing? I've been collecting clothes/little things for a while. I started to work on some craft projects for the nursery which I am excited about.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically just tired (still). I've had a cold all week which sucks and the heartburn is getting pretty bad. Emotionally doing well, can't believe how fast time is going!

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Had a check up on Thursday and everything was good. Have to do my glucose test next Thursday morning, bleh.

My mom is amazing. She was (still is) a single parent since I was a baby and she did an awesome job raising three kids on not a lot of money. My brother and sister are younger than I am, and twins. They are pretty much the opposite of me, but our relationship has gotten better as we've gotten older. My brother and DH are actually pretty close (they're both musicians) so we see and hang out with him quite a bit. My sister is a difficult person to get along with so I don't hang out with her as much.

Question #2: How long should we continue this check-in? My thought was until everyone has their rainbows. My EDD is early in the months so the check-ins might not be as in depth after LO comes unless someone else want to help up but I should be fine. What are your thoughts? I think we should keep it going until everyone has their babies, but I also think someone will need to take over for Kimmy once she has her LO. I would volunteer, but my EDD is early in the month too.

Got the courage to buy anything yet / What were/are you most excited about purchasing? I'm sure that once I start buying clothes, things will get out of hand really quickly.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Good. Hips have started hurting again the last few nights, but otherwise good. I'm starting to get a little concerned about my BHs. I usually get several a day, but I've had like 4 in the last hour. Magic number is 5 in an hour to call. Let's hope they stop soon.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I think I passed my GD test this week, since I didn't get a call yesterday. I will know for sure on Monday. Can't believe we are starting appts every 2 weeks already.

Any baby awesomeness this week? We got to see baby girl yawning, swallowing and waving all around this week at our appt. Loved that.

Got the courage to buy anything yet / What were/are you most excited about purchasing? We bought another outfit last week but I'm really excited to put the nursery together. We put an offer on a house this weekend and we're crossing our fingers and praying that everything goes through. It's definitely a leap of faith for us. If we get the house, we'll move in a month before my due date. Oh, and one of my closest friends sent me a rainbow light for the nursery. We both suffered miscarriages at the same time and had surgery on the same day. We actually connected through the bump and are really close now. She had her rainbow baby in January and I sent her a rainbow build-a-bear and it means so much that she sent this to me!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Pretty much the same, starting to feel some more aches and pains.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? March 20 for another scan for heart pictures and glucose test

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? I HATE quiet days.

I have an older and younger brother and the 3 of us could not be more different. I love my parents but it's easier to do at a distance. We are just very different in our lifestyles and views. I am closer to my mom now that I am an adult. Although, they still make me feel like a child sometimes. I've always grown up with dogs and love them to death. I have 3 furbabies and am excited to see them love and protect our baby girl.

Question #2: How long should we continue this check-in? I would love to do this until we all have our rainbow babies. I'm due in the middle of the month so if I can help out, I will!

I also accidentally posted on the other thread, but have included most information here...

27w1d!! Still holding strong with green!

We are slowly doing things to the nursery each week. Just got the area rug in and finished registering for things.

This week was tough for me as it is when I miscarried last year. Ironically the baby shower invites were sent out on the exact day of my MC and my aunt that's hosting it has no idea we went through a loss. Things work in mysterious ways...

Luckily baby has been moving around a ton and making me feel better about everything. I am having a hard time believing that it's just ~13 weeks away!

The warmerish weather is also getting me excited that spring is on the way and we will all be meeting our rainbow babes soon!

I am the oldest of 2 siblings. My brother passed away when we were young and my sister is 7 years younger than me. She has a baby boy that's amazing! I'm excited that our kids will be close in age because I used to worry that my kids would be much older than hers. I am very close to my father and step-mom. My bio mom left us when I was 11, so it's been tough to have a real relationship with her. I can't imagine leaving my babies behind and I'm not even a mom yet!

Next appt is in 2 weeks for GD.

I am also due in the beginning of the month but think it's important we continue this thread until everyone had had their babes.

In regards to the moving- We have a plan finally! I'll have access to the place around May (but we won't be moving completely because we still have to pay out rent on our current place until July 1 and my OB is here.) so I'll have a nursery set up completely before moving day. My goal is to take June and pack up everything we can live without before the baby comes. It'll make moving day go faster.

Got the courage to buy anything yet / What were/are you most excited about purchasing? We just found out my mom is buying our crib for us, so I just have to pick out a style. It's a big help money wise and so sweet of her to do. Now we are on to picking a paint color and theme.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? I'm okay for the most part. I had some intense BH earlier this week but they have calmed down a lot. I'm just trying to not let anxiety get to me.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I had an appointment this past week and everything is looking good. LO's HB is around 140 and my fundal measurements are right on. It seems my eating has caught up haha, went from not gaining anything to up 7pounds in a month. My BP was up but no concerns there.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? I almost made DH take me to the hospital when he BH's were bad but I managed to calm myself down and they eventually passed. I think I'm finally getting comfortable with the idea that this baby isn't going anywhere.

Any baby awesomeness this week? Rolling, kicking, hiccups...all the time. It's like he knows when I need to feel him sometimes.

I have an older sister who is married with an almost 2 year old girl. My parents are both still alive and married. I love my family to death and would do anything for them. Me and my husband have a cat and a mouse. We aren't really close with his side of the family but he has 2 brothers, one who is married with kids.

I'm towards the end of the month so if you kept it going and anyone needed help keeping up with it, I'd offer a hand. If it ended around mid May I'd understand as well, since things would be getting hectic for everyone.

@ricecakes1216- I forgot to add that my OB said it was ok to have Emergen-C. I took it during my last cold and it kicked it in a few days. It's 1000 mg of vitamin c and it comes in different flavors. It's a powder that you add to water. I hope you feel better soon!

Got the courage to buy anything yet / What were/are you most excited about purchasing? After much pressure from family and friends we put the crib up last week. Also, I ordered some onesies and sleepers during Carters sale.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Most of my fears are gone now. I had heard of ladies who m/c at 5 mos, so I'm happy to be over the hump.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? GD test coming this week. Hopefully, all will go well.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? To get over the loss, I assumed it was a girl and named her. I picked a name I never thought I would have really used. It made me feel better that she had a name. Although, I figured if my angel was a boy, he might not like it. Well, now we're stuck for names. DH mentioned the name I picked for our angel (he forgot, so I didn't remind him). Instantly, I loved it, but I feel like it's a slight to the lost baby.

Any baby awesomeness this week? I'm feeling more movement. I have an anterior placenta so, any movement I feel gets me excited.

Got the courage to buy anything yet / What were/are you most excited about purchasing? I was most excited about purchasing her bedset because that set the theme for the whole room. I let DH have alot more say this time and he actually picked out her set this time. It wasn't my first choice but its still adorable.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Emotionally, I'm worried that something is still going to go wrong in the end. Physically, I'm feeling great this week and have gotten alot done around the house.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I just had my 27 week appt with my GD test so I'm waiting on those results. FX. I'll have another appt at 31 weeks and then we are onto every two weeks. We'll get another u/s again at 33 weeks to check her position and stuff.

I'm the baby of the family with two older brothers. My parents divorced about 10 years ago. They used to have a great relationship still where they both were actually staying in my house when DD#1 was born with their significant others and everything was amicable. That's changed in the last few years which is not a PITA.

Hi ladies! I've enjoyed reading about everyone's families! Seems like everyone is doing well! @feliciatwo- I hope you don't need to do the 3-hour one!

As for me, Pediatric Cardiology appt. went well. Heart is looking good and functioning well. Coarctation is still present..we just have to watch to see if it is just really narrowed or connected. I go back in 3-4 weeks for another scan. Just glad my little guy's heart is developing well despite the coarctation.

Got the courage to buy anything yet / What were/are you most excited about purchasing? Just bought the rug for the room and can pick it up today.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally?I feel pretty good...achy and having trouble sleeping still. Fighting a bit of a cold but nothing terrible and debilitating.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I have my 28 week appt. on Tuesday and I will take my glucose test..yum! I have an anatomy scan on Thursday to make sure little man is growing as he should. Looking forward to seeing him again!

QOTW – Tell me about your family…parents, siblings, pets, whatever you are comfortable to share. I am the youngest of 4...older sister, two older brothers and me. Mom and dad divorced when I was in 4th grade and my mom supported us. My family can be a bit crazy and drive me nuts, but they mean well. I am lucky to have them.

Question #2: How long should we continue this check-in? My thought was until everyone has their rainbows. My EDD is early in the months so the check-ins might not be as in depth after LO comes unless someone else want to help up but I should be fine. What are your thoughts? I am cool with however long. May be fun to see everyone's babes being born!

@kimmyberly26‌ - yeah! Then yes, I am going on our family baby moon in 27 days. Yes, we will be going to Disney Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. After that we may go to Lego Land and/or hangout at the beaches.

Got the courage to buy anything yet / What were/are you most excited about purchasing? Yes! Just bought his stroller, car seat cover and bedding. Super excited for the bedding to come in so I can start looking at paint colors.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically - back hurts and still having heartburn. Pretty used to that now. Emotionally, ok.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Just did my GD test on Friday. Praying all is well. Monthly appt. Monday.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? I had a scare this week. On Thursday, my heart started racing, I started sweating, feeling very nauseous and dizzy and then everything started going black. No idea what happened but freaked me out. I downed three cups of water and started feeling better. LO didn't move during the episode, but afterwards he was kicking and moving and that helped me feel better. Think it was due to me being dehydrated, but following up with Dr. On Monday.

Any baby awesomeness this week? DS got to see his brother kicking.

Parents are divorced, both remarried. I love my step-dad, don't care for my dad's wife. I have a half brother on my dad's side. He is 16 years younger and lives with his mom's side of the family (not the same women he is married to), so rarely see him. He also does not make great decisions, so it's better he is not close to us. No pets currently. We had a dog before DS was born but dog did not do well with a new baby, so he had to go. I wouldn't mind getting a fish tank one day. On my mom's side we have a big family and we all get along, for the most part.

We have ordered the dresser and have the new stroller -besides for that we don't need much - i have to order his bedding but i'm waiting till after DS birthday to do that. Ill really just be excited to get his room all put together and be done with it

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically - i've been having alot of back pain emotionally it just depends on the day - yesterday was rough it was my EDD with my angel baby so it was rough but i'm feeling good today.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? had the GD Test on Saturday - FX that i don't have to take the 3hr one.

I am the youngest of 4 - and there a big age gap between me and my siblings. we don't have any pets currently - i grew up with an amazing german shep. mix dog named Buddy who died about 3 years ago now and i swear he haunts my parents house because i'll still see him all over the place there.

I'd say definitly until the last rainbow is here - my C/S is scheduled for the first thurs of the month but i doubt i'll make it that long. But i'd still do the check in's

How far: 24 weeks

Team/color?: BLUE, no name yet

Buy anything?: we bought an outfit last week. Since it's another boy the only thing we need is another dresser, a grooming kit and maybe another car seat. (I have to check the expiration date on my son's old one.)

Physically/Emotionally: we had a scare last week. I'm used to the contractions, but the leaky fluid scared me. Turns out it was just watery discharge so false alarm. They never did tell me what they think is causing all of my contractions. My doctor said if I have more than 5 in an hour to call them, but I'd be calling every day! I had a crazy dream the other night that I delivered and I was like: "It's too early! I'm only 22 weeks." The baby came out HUGE... he looked like he was about a year old and said 2 words.

QOTW: I am the youngest of 3. I had a younger brother, but he died of SIDS. We currently have 2 dogs and my crazy husband want to buy a cat FOR our dog. -- I'm allergic and I think that's an INSANE idea: to get a pet for a pet. WTF?!

2nd question: I think we should keep the check in until delivery. I like hearing updates from all of you ladies!

**anyone else having trouble with The Bump lately?? The formatting while typing looks fine, but after I post it it's just a giant paragraph. Also on my tablet I'm missing all of the editing buttons like the picture box, bold, italic, text color, etc. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but it's still not showing up.

Hi all my fellow pgalers. I am 24 weeks and 4 days. Team Pink (yay) and right now we are leaning towards Aria for the first name, I am falling in love with the name and I think it will be the one

which makes me very happy, it also flows well with our last name which is 11 letters long and tough to work with and with our sons name (Enzo). So far haven't bought much but I did get these adorable bright pink nike running shoes on clearance recently so that was nice. Feeling pretty good, suffering with some insomnia and this morning woke up hardly able to move my neck or bend or do much at all, lots of pain, I think a pinched nerve, not fun at all being at work today. I have no appointments until the 19th and I need to schedule my glucose test today. My family is a bit crazy, my sister and I are very very close and it was my late moms birthday this past Saturday, she would have been 53 so a tough day for sure. My husband and son and soon to be daughter are my life and everything to me. I would love it if we could continue this check in until after our babies are safely in our arms. I still find myself nervous a lot over any little thing and cannot wait until she is finally here.

How far along are you? 25w5d today

Got the courage to buy anything yet / What were/are you most excited about purchasing? Today I got a cute dark pink carters dress with white flowers embroidered on it, with a matching white cardigan. It will be her going home outfit, plus she is going to wear it for a wedding 7 weeks later. I'm really excited for my shower so I know how much more shopping I need to do!

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Emotionally doing pretty well, DH has to have spinal fusion surgery on the 20th so I'm nervous to get him recovered before anything happens to me and baby camryn. How can we take care of eachother if god forbid I end up on bedrest or deliver early when he is recovering from such major surgery. Damn worst case scenario mindset I have. physically I'm having lots pain in my pelvic bones, feels like someone kicked me right in the cooch bone!

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Nothing until early next month.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Just the nervousness that goes along with preparing for DHs surgery, I'll feel much better if we can get the nursery done before his surgery. We got the home office moved to the basement which was the first step. Now really just need to paint.

Any baby awesomeness this week? We can see her kicking now, I love this! It is so fun to share with DH, and it also lets me know that she is getting stronger!!!

I'm the 3rd of 4 kids, my parents are amazing and have been married for 37 years. My little girl will be the 6th granddaughter in the family, the only boy we have is adopted, so the running joke is that if you want a boy you need to go outside the gene pool because that is the only way to get a son! I am beyond blessed to have such amazing people in my life!

I bought some maternity clothes, not too happy with the shirts motherhood did not have much in the plus size section but I am loving the secret fit leggings. Ordered new undies too and needing some spring shoes... Any ideas ladies? I'm on my feet all day and my feet sweat like a pig!
How are you feeling physically/emotionally?
I've had a bunch of ups and downs the past few weeks. My husbands grandfather almost died and we thought my MIL had a heart attack. So family stuff has been crazy. Thank god they're both doing better. Honestly though I've suffered with depression and anxiety for a long time and have not been in therapy for a while (2 years I think my therapist said I was doing well) but with this pregnancy it's been getting a little crazy. A lot of the sad stuff that has been happening to the ladies here has been making me more upset than normal and so I've had to take a step back.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Abigail has lost 2 grandparents within a week of each other (My Mom and Father in law). I am a wreck knowing I won't have my Mom with me for my first baby.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I have a 28 wk appt on Tuesday for my 1 hr glucose test, RhoGam shot, and Growth ultrasound.

Got the courage to buy anything yet / What were/are you most excited about purchasing? I'm excited for the baby girl clothes! I already got a small selection of outfits, but will need to pick up more.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Emotionally good. Physcially, my hips are hurting a lot. I skipped yoga last week and I think that was a mistake. They've been feeling better since I went on Tuesday.

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? Just had a good MW appointment today! Baby's sounding great, blood pressure was great, and I passed my GD test with flying colors. Next appointment is in two weeks.

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? Nope, all's good!

Any baby awesomeness this week? This baby seems to hate the Doppler. Today when my MW went to listen to her heartbeat, she kicked the Doppler repeatedly, then moved to the other side of my stomach. My MW literally had to hold baby in place with her other hand to get a good heartbeat reading today. She's a fiesty one!

I'm the oldest of 4. I'm very close with my siblings and have a wonderful relationship with all of them, even though we are spread throughout the country. I hope my kids have such a good relationship with their siblings, too.

My dad currently lives about 5-6 hours away from me. I wish he was closer so he could see his grandson more. My mom died almost 10 years ago from cancer. Going through PG without her is hard. I wish she was here to relate to what I'm experiencing and to meet her grandchildren.

How far along are you? 25 weeks 5 days

Got the courage to buy anything yet / What were/are you most excited about purchasing? I have been a shopaholic since finding out we were having a boy. There is so much I still need to get since my first born was a girl The Nursery is almost complete and that is one step closer to filling the room with our baby boy.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Well I am still sore after the car accident and still going to all of the Dr appointments for my injuries But our baby boy is doing great! growing ahead of schedule. (but that is to be expected since my DD was 9lbs 5 oz) I am just praying things stay that way!

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share? I will have my last normal appointment on the 27th of this month. which will consist of an ultrasound, glucose test and check up. Then when I go back 3 weeks after that, I will be going for weekly NST scans Until the 1st of June. AHHHH it is coming so fast

Got the courage to buy anything yet / What were/are you most excited about purchasing? This time around I am being better about this. I had so much anxiety when I was pg with Oliver last year that I didn't buy anything until the very last minute. Since we are having another boy, it makes things easier, but I am trying to do this pg a lot less anxiously. So we are going to get the nursery together for the new baby and I am going to try not to be afraid to buy new clothes for him. But in the back of my mind, I feel like I have a safety net bc I have a lot of stuff of O's that would be good for the new baby.

How are you feeling physically/emotionally? Physically I am doing really well. Emotionally I am hanging in there. It helps that I have a 1 year old to take care of so it takes my mind off of things that would normally make my bp go up!

Any updates or appointments coming up you'd like to share?

New ob appt on 3/27 (switching practices), glucose test, bloodwork, and rhogam shot on 4/3, elective 4d ultrasound on 4/5

Any PgAL crazy you want to add? I have been really good about this... I haven't even taken out my doppler in about a month!!!
