Hi there! Wish I would have found TB earlier as you ladies would have been a great support system but looking forward to joining in now. It's been a long road to get here (in short- TTC on our own, failed medicated cycles, failed adoption attempt, successful adoption, more failed adoption, miscarriage, and IVF all over the course of 10 years) but my DH and I did an IVF cycle in January that we recently found out has resulted in mono-di twins due 10/16/14. We knew the possibility for twins was decently high but we really weren't expecting identical:) We are very excited and a little nervous as I've not actually been this far along in a pregnancy before but we're trying to enjoy the time as much as possible while still keeping in mind how far we have to go and what can happen along the way. We do have a 5 year old DS who was adopted and he is looking forward to becoming a big brother this fall though he tells me he would definitely like brothers better than sisters. I guess we'll just have to wait and see on that one. Looking forward to getting to know you all!

BFP#2: 8/25/13, EDD 5/4/14, MMC confirmed on 9/23/13, D&C on 9/26/13

Jezebel57- Congrats on the boys! Identical was definitely not what we expected, don't think the RE did either as he was almost as excited as we were when he figured it out. That's the way our seems to run though- lots of struggle and then a sweet prize at the end. DS's adoption was the same, lots of red tape and paperwork issues but I would do it all again in a heartbeat.
