Glad someone is finally making a real effort to mass produce a doll with actual human dimensions! I might actually order one of these for myself (and I was never a Barbie girl). RIght now this is a crowd-sourced effort at lammily.com
I do like this... but I also don't think I was given false expectations from my Barbies. I loved Barbies when I was little, and I don't think they looked even remotely human really.
I guess I just never felt like their was some unrealistic stigma that I had to try to look skinny and perky and tall just like my Barbies. I didn't think their bodies were really attractive, and their faces looked like cartoons. So just like I never felt the need to look like cartoons that I watched, I didn't feel like I needed to look like the Barbie dolls I played with.
