Glad someone is finally making a real effort to mass produce a doll with actual human dimensions!  I might actually order one of these for myself (and I was never a Barbie girl).  RIght now this is a crowd-sourced effort at lammily.com

  • I do like this... but I also don't think I was given false expectations from my Barbies. I loved Barbies when I was little, and I don't think they looked even remotely human really.

I guess I just never felt like their was some unrealistic stigma that I had to try to look skinny and perky and tall just like my Barbies. I didn't think their bodies were really attractive, and their faces looked like cartoons. So just like I never felt the need to look like cartoons that I watched, I didn't feel like I needed to look like the Barbie dolls I played with.

    Maybe that's just me though?
  • I dig this. I wasn't into Barbies until I saw all my friends had them. My Little Pony was my jam.

  • I ordered one too, I like that she can actually stand on her own and has moveable wrists, elbows and knees.
