Bottle/nipple sizes

DD was alm ost a 37 weeker,But due to her reflux, after a couple weeks we started using Preemie nipple on her dr brown bottles with the 2 oz size.
The triplets will obviously be in NICU, Where I'm told they have special bottles. A friend with trips suggested once they can, to move directly to the 8 oz bottles and save $ on the smaller ones. Anyone do this? I think u can only use Level 1 nipples, not the preemie. Thanks!

My littler twin is on the dr brown preemie nipple. The level 1 was too much. She is 5lbs 4oz. Her sister is 7lbs 3oz and she uses the level 1 perfectly. I think the little one will not need the preemie before she comes home.
