So I feel like this board is really cooking Mondays and Tuesdays when we have the check ins and TTT. And Thursday and Friday are usually fairly active with the PIP thread and
@2MamazinSeattle's GTKY threads. But Wednesday is slow. We can do better! We used to have a Health and Wellness Check In (which I sometimes posted), but it never got a ton of love and I'm honestly not super focused on that right now. So I thought I'd ask how people felt about coming up with a good Wednesday thread.
A board that split off from this board (hosted elsewhere) has Whine and Wine Wednesday. You say what you want to whine about and what you are celebrating. They also do a Thankful Thursday, which is nice -- if we wanted to do that, we could always move the PIP thread to Wednesdays. PGAL has Clicky Poll Wednesday. Those are the only ideas I have come up with. Anyone else? Ideas? Thoughts?

Re: Thoughts on thread schedule?
I totally support it.
I like the idea of Whine and Wine. Or Clicky Poll.
We could do a What We Like Wednesday and people share a few random things that they like (cheese, cool summer evenings, The X Files, etc.) if that didn't feel too much like TTT.
Blast from the Past (or another name)--sharing a story or picture from the past
Wacky Wednesday-- joke, riddle, funny story
Ok, I'm out of ideas (and was a few lines ago, I think).
We're queer. I'm 33, have severe stage 4 endo, and had both fallopian tubes removed. My love ("Manada" on the boards, 32) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tavin and Casey at 21 weeks gestation.
Our IUIs
with @Manada: IUI# 1-7 (December 2012- September 2013) all BFN. Tried natural, femara, clomid, puregon/follistim, clomid and menopur combo, both the ovidrel and HCG triggers.
Our IVFs:
IVF #1 my eggs November/December 2013: Cancelled IVF due to poor response
IVF #2 my eggs/Manada's uterus January/February 2014
BCPs and lupron overlap Stimmed: 1/22-2/2: Bravelle and Menopur (dosage ranged from B300 and M150 to B375 and M150 to B300 and M225)
2/4 retrieved 10 eggs. Endo was much worse than expected. Only 3 eggs fertilized; February 7 transferred two day 3 embryos, froze one. All great condition.
BFP eve of 6dp3dt; Beta 1 (11dp3dt): 110; Beta 2 (13dp3dt): 175; Beta 3 (15dp3dt): 348; Beta 4 (19dp3dt): 2222; Beta 5 (21dp3dt): 4255
1st ultrasound (3/6 6w 1d): TWINS!!!! Twin A measuring 6w1d with a heartbeat of 118bpm. Twin B measuring 6w0d with a heartbeat of 113bpm.
***July 18, 2014 we lost our beautiful babies at 21 weeks gestation. They were born too early. Tavin Sara T. and Casey Elizabeth T. are beautiful and precious and we will love them and miss them forever.***
FET #1 December 2014
You both read my mind - I think I noticed it more this week too (plus I was Bump stalking to get the good news from M & H regarding their little Rockies). ;-)
I like the Whine and Wine Wednesdays and the Blast from the Past ideas - actually all the ideas.
If I knew how to create a clicky poll I'd set something up to take votes - Anyone??
While I like the Whine and Wine, I wonder if it's too much like TTT, which often seems to be similar stuff (the good, the bad, etc.). That said, I'm not opposed.
I like clicky polls or the idea of PIP Wednesday and Thankful Thursdays! However, anything to bring a little spring to Wednesday's step sounds great to me.
Me (43) and J (45) - same sex couple. And we don't feel 40+!

We live in Seattle and used SRM for our donor egg IVF cycle
I agree with everyone! Wednesdays need a refresh!
I would also like to add that I think sometimes folks are hesitant to start a new thread, and wait for one of the "regular thread-starters" to do it. It would be super helpful if just in general anyone who wanted to started any weekly thread if they check-in for the first time that day and see that the thread hasn't been started yet. I am usually an early riser, and I am happy to start threads whenever (and I know others feel the same), but I would hate to think that a certain thread was neglected just b/c I (or whoever the usually initiator is) was running behind or busy that day.
Anywho, I like the What's for Dinner Wednesday idea... it could turn into a bit of a recipe swap; PIPs of meals made throughout the week; ideas for cooking for/with LOs; Healthy cooking or special indulgences... I think that might be fun and something different...
I do also like the idea of Whacky Wednesday... sharing a joke or something funny or a little weird... my only concern about this one is that it might be hard to always come up with something...
Anyway, I support any and all of the ideas mentioned!
