Ladies help!!! I am having some cramping. I am about 4-6 weeks pregnant. Is this normal?! It feels like normal period cramps. I am terrified of a miscarriage!
Yep, normal. I had pretty strong cramps until about week 8. At one point I even went into my OB because they were so strong. It's just your body changing but still scary!
I'm so glad someone else posted this. I am in limbo right now (my doctor said I was going to miscarry but then there was a heartbeat and my MFM found a heartbeat and feels like I will have a full term pregnancy) so every little twinge makes me worry.
I know how you feel. Because of prior experience, I lost my "stuff" yesterday when I got some pretty awful cramps that wouldn't go away. Everything seems normal, though. Big sigh of relief there. Looks like you're doing all right--just take it easy and don't stress yourself out more than you have to.
I am 10.5 weeks and I've just started to get some consistent cramps. All day yesterday and some today, too. It's not painful, just annoying. I just keep telling myself that it's the baby/uterus growing!!
The cramps are even worst when you're constipated. I was in so much pain, I thought I was having a miscarriage. The cramps are perfectly normal as long as you're not bleeding.
I'm so happy to see this thread. I've been cramping like a maniac. It's been like having my period for two weeks - but without the benefit of aleve to relieve the pain.
However, after traveling from one end of the internet to the other, it appears that this is totally normal. Whew.
Pretty sure its totally normal. I had period like cramps around 6 weeks, then again around 9 weeks. Now on and off I feel light cramps, its more than likely the uterus starting to stretch to get bigger for your growing baby.

I, too have been experiencing almost unbearable cramps. After having a miscarriage, I run to the bathroom to check for blood and am relieved every time (so far - knock on wood). Although it's "normal" it's still scary. They feel almost exactly like my miscarriage cramps did. However, I'm a week past my MC date and am trying to only think positive thoughts.
