This is a special weekly Thursday check-in for all of us who have crossed into our 40's. We all hang out on TTC after 35, but we all know that once you hit your fabulous 40's and are TTC it is just different.
There is a regular Weekly Check In on Wednesdays for all on this board, so feel free to post on both check ins if you like. If you are completely new to the TTC after 35 board and haven't done a formal intro please do that before posting here!
1. Your Name and/or Screen Name (no full names) and the State you live in.
2. How long have you been TTC?
3. Where are you in your cycle? If in the 2ww when will you test? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc)
4. What type of TTC are you doing? (IVF, IUI, Natural... etc)
5. Weekly Vent - Go ahead, vent on one thing that is really irking you this week, promise you will feel better after.

- Hashimoto's (under control), DH: 38 - (minor issues)
IUIs: 2 in 2012 ... Both BFN
IVF #1: 10/16/13 ... BFP, however it was not viable and ended in an early loss at 7weeks.
IVF #2: Feb '14 ... Cancelled. Positive beta at baseline appt, became very early loss.
IVF #2: Apr '14 ... Retrieval Only. 2 embryos made it to day 3 freeze & will be batched with IVF #3 for PGD testing.
IVF #3: June '14 ... Retrieval Only. 4 embryos growing, all arrested before day 5. Two from April thawed, but also arrested.
Currently benched while determining how to proceed.

2. Naturally since 2009, then with RE since 2012
3. Awaitng AF. Once she begins (any day now) back on the bcps for prep for IVF
4. Getting ready for our 2nd round of IVF in March/April time frame. Will also be doing PGD testing so this will be a retrieval cycle and then freeze all. Depending how many are retrieved and make it this may be just a banking cycle.
5. Nothing to vent on this week, yay! I'm super excited to be having a pizza party tonight with the new friends I met through my Resolve support group. Will definitely be emotional as I already know that one gal just got her bfp after her first IVF cycle and another gal just got a bfn after her second IUI. Such happiness and sadness all rolled together.
**Name That Action (NTA) ** I want to buy a new car. I've been saying that to my husband for like two years and we keep putting off adding another car payment. I should have never let my car get paid off, that way it wouldn't be an arguing point, ha ha ha.

I've now done three clomid cycles, going on to my fourth

Every time I think I get a handle on some 'normalcy' in my cycles, I get thrown for a loop. On unmedicated cycles I start spotting at 1 DPO and continue until AF arrives, but on Clomid that spotting holds off until 9-11 DPO. Which is good. But my LP has stayed around 13 days, until this last cycle - yesterday was 17 DPO before my period finally started in the afternoon. Drives me nuts to be so 'irregular' when your LP should be more consistent, that false hope of being so late just really hurts.

I want to get back into drawing, I used to do it all the time but haven't done it in a long time.

5. MH!!! He takes medicine for narcolepsy and needs to take it then go straight to bed. He never does so I find myself screaming at him constantly. I feel awful but im tired and feel i need to check on him plus he starts snoring which is where his C-Pac comes in!! This is why...
When it takes effect I find him standing up eyes closed eating bag of cheese swaying. He doesn't know he is doing it. Sometimes he calls asleep on chair with container of ketchup in his hands. I know its hard for him but my god my patience is running thin. Oh there is other stuff too. Grrrr. He will never be allowed to take this medicine if he is by himself with a baby.

Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

feel totally lost and confused. why the eff isn't this working? why isn't anything sticking? 3 "beautiful embryos" and i get nothing. i need a RESOLVE meeting ASAP.
My short term goal is to lose the 20 lbs. i've put on since september 2013. hopefully it doesn't take me till the end of the year.

Patiently waiting for 5 emby's to do their thing. Will hear on Saturday whether or not our transfer will happen on Sun or Mon or at all.

I really don't have one. Weird, but I will say this roller coaster of emotions is taking a toll.

My life is up in the air right now. If this works then it will be healthy Mom and baby. If not we'll regroup. Lose weight, possibly take our first vacation without the little one. Who knows. FX!

Natural...hubby wanted to give last month one last try. If this isn't the month going to try our first IUI later this month.

The people at work are driving me nuts. We had a group meeting to go over some rules not being followed by two people specifically. Well right after the meeting, the new rules were enforced and they haven't been following them. Nothing has been said to them..they get away with so much.

He is still paying child support for him!!!!!! He has about 5 things he hasnt done for too long, so I am just going to check in to ask once a week....
