I've lurked like 3 other boards this week. It's way too boring lately and I'm getting worried. I think a lot of people pop up for UO and FC but that's not even bringing people around. I lurked FC in parenting all week and I must say I miss how active we used to be!

Well now bump Jackie announced possibly getting rid of all the public boards and just doing the social group stuff. I think the social group idea left a bad taste in people's mouths and could have caused some to leave?

I think she needs to specify more. I read it as she is getting rid of all the boards and just having private ones. What you guys are saying makes more sense.

I wish I could be on more often, but with my new business, family stuff and just the daily game called life, I have only been able to catch up every few days.  I miss all of you ladies and hope our board doesn't dwindle down too fast!  I hope I can be on more often soon.

@jfresh Wow really? That's crazy! We seem so slow compared to the bigger boards. And we have like 200 people and if you think about it it's the same handful of people that post and comment in the bigger boards. It just seems like they chat more.

It says "groups" not "boards".  The initiative is called "Social Groups", not "Social Boards".  If you have specific questions you want answered, I think there's a feedback link in the post.

I have been super busy at work (work goes up, TB time goes down).  I feel like I can check in on the board for like 30 seconds before I need to do something else.

@corgimum @jfresh I've been love titing over there but am way to intimidated to jump in. If i ever leave this board it would be for parenting though. The SAHM board is way too uptight.

Well I'm usually here PWing it up but we've been unusually busy at work this morning. Fwiw someone linked board reader stats in that giant UO and we are aomehow still the most active BMB. It shocks me every time!

I'm with you, @nesenotes.  Those SAHM ladies come out with the claws.  They're quick to say to each their own, but I get the sense that they really don't mean it.    

Honestly, if I stopped participating here, I'd probably just lurk.  It's too much work to build relationships with all new internet friends
