Good morning
How did you sleep?
Any new pregnancy symptoms, cravings, or aversions?
Upcoming appointments, milestones, or updates? (Ticker change?)
QOTD: Bedrest is a drag. Sometimes we may feel like we're missing out on so much, but what have been a few highlights or special moments you've experienced despite being on bedrest?
Re: *** Thursday Bedrest Check-in ***
I slept ok, I was up late working so I'm still dragging today.
Today is ticker change day for me! 35 weeks, whoooooo! I see my OB this afternoon for another check-up.
QOTD: Before bedrest, I worked full-time outside the home, my commute is an hour each way, and my job often requires long hours. Being home on bedrest, even though I'm still working for now, has given me a lot more time with DD and DH, and it's been wonderful. I feel like I've been able to bond with them a lot more and just spend some quality time together. I am very thankful for that.
@twodaisies, I know exactly what you're talking about!! My appetite had been so different since being on bedrest. I can't decide what sounds good to me and would sometimes rather eat crackers just so that I can have something in my stomach. Every once in a while though I'll get a craving.
So, Dr says my contractions are more than likely no longer bh because of what I was describing to him. He says I just need to make sure they're not becoming regular/in a pattern and if they do I need to call him right away because we'll need to get the cerclage removed quickly:/ I'm not sure how I feel about all of this... I want to meet our little girl, but I want her to be ready too. I also realize I could be experiencing these connections for weeks without anything really changing, which doesn't sound very exciting at all.
QOTD: I think the fact that bedrest forces you to slow down and really connect with people again is refreshing. Examples: I talk to my grandma on the phone everyday or every other day and before it was maybe once a week. My sister comes in and sits with me some afternoons and before I could go weeks before seeing her or talking to her. Also, since I learned to crochet I've been able to make a few things for the baby and that was special for me because I actually got to create something special just for her.
