My nerves are a wreck

Today is lo's pediatric urologist appt for her multicyctic dysplastic left kidney and grade 3 reflux right kidney. I stayed up all night and I've been sick all morning upset about what's going to happen. I hope that we get some good news. No point to this post other than if you wouldn't mind saying a quick prayer. Dh's grandpa also died unexpectedly Wednesday morning. My mil is devastated and needs prayers as well. Thanks guise I'll update later

Thank you for all of the support. It really helped me today. Overall, the appt went well. Left cystic kidney has reduced in size (good news) and the right kidney looked great. The right ureter however was dilated which the dr wasn't terribly worried about, I guess it just means that her reflux is not improving like we had hoped and may need surgery. Another scan will be done in October to determine the exact grade of the reflux. I'm praying that it fixes itself. An IGUR (I think that's the correct abbreviation) has been rescheduled to check the function of the bad kidney since the first time at 3 months, it was not able to be done since none of the nurses could get an IV started. Sorry this is long I hope it makes sense. Overall DH says it's all good news, but I'm obviously going to worry about it until October. #worrywart #ftm #atleastimadeitoutsidetheofficebeforeicriedthistime

Please don't be hard on yourself for worrying. I don't care if you have 1 kid or 20, we all worry about health. I'd judge you if you DIDN'T worry. I'm glad you got good news and I hope it keeps coming.

We got together with the aunts and cousins and went to papas house. It was really sad knowing he's never going to be there again. On a positive note, there are some baby cousins lo's age. Hope they get to grow up close!
