Milk Intro

Did anyone have issues with their LO spitting up again when they started whole milk? DS has been on WCM now for almost 2 weeks...and he spits up probably 75% of the time that he has it. We have been sometimes mixing it with formula, sometimes not...Right now I am trying to warm it up a little to see if maybe its the cold? (he would never take an ice cold bottle).   I am having an issue figuring out how much to give him also since milk is thicker than formula(maybe im giving him too much?). I dont think its an allergy given that its been 2 weeks and its just spit up--no throw up, no loose bowls, no rash/hives etc. Plus hes been on a milk based formula since 3 mos, eats all other forms of dairy. I am just baffled. Going to call the dr this morning to check but just curious if this is normal way of getting his body to adjust or if it could be an issue. Thanks!

I gradually switched DS to try to avoid spitting up. I started with 2oz milk with 4oz formula for a few days then went half and half then 4oz milk and 2oz formula before being at all milk. I also had to warm it bc he wouldn't take it cold. My pedi recommends 16-32oz of milk a day but DS usually only takes about 16 total (2 8oz cups a day). He could also just be adjusting to the change. I hope he feels better soon!
