I don't care how cinematically brilliant a movie is... if the plot line involves cheating and especially if said cheating is glamourized as destiny finally happening, I'm OUT. The whole thing is ruined for me. Have some standards, Hollywood! (Yes, I realize the absurdity of that statement.)
This concern about the state of affairs in pubic hair land is baffling to me. I'm about to have a baby, why would anybody care whether I waxed, shaved, trimmed, or let it run wild for the past six months? Is there a photo shoot planned for my lady bits that I don't know about?
I think tattoos are like anything you put on your body. I think some women look beautiful with them and I think it can make you look trashy. I would totally look trashy, I know it.
I have never waxed anything except my eyebrows. I stopped doing that because it was ripping my skin off sometimes. I've mentioned it before, but, I could really careless about what's going with my pubic hair at this point. I shave legs and bikini line so I feel comfortable in a swim suit and that's it. I know a doctor/midwife could careless about it.
Speaking of hating movies...I hated Gravity. I have never ever wanted a movie to end so quickly before. So much flailing around and grabbing on to things. The entire movie was Sandra Bullock saying, "no no no no no no!" and "Ahhhhhhh" Why did everyone I talk to recommend it?
I hate those 26.2 marathon and 13.1 half marathon stickers people put on their cars. Yes, it's a huge accomplishment, but no other adult hobby / sport does this. They make me so irrationally stabby that whenever I see the 13.1 ones, I just want to scream "OH, WHAT? YOU COULDN'T TURN AROUND AND DO THE WHOLE THING?"

Yes, tv crews and everything.

I hate all car stickers. I did see a running one that said "0.0" once though and it is the most acceptable car sticker I've ever seen. I still hate them all though, I just hate that one less.
DH has jokingly said he's going to buy that one for me. I would proudly display it...on my fridge.
See, David Beckham and Adam Levine are soooooo not my type, but there's something dirty-sexy about them that makes me want to lick them...and then gargle with antiseptic mouthwash.
actually, on a very serious note, i have an UO that i will never ever share here because it would ignite a storm of rage and hate that i don't think i'd ever live down.
I didn't realize this was a UO until this BMB- I could care less when/where my water breaks. I'm 9 freaking months pregnant, nobody is going to think I peed myself, and they'll probably know what's happening. I don't see the embarrassment. Would it be annoying to have 45 people offering to bring me to the hospital/call 911? Probably, but can deal with it.
So no one's touching the 'get a job' homeless comment? Alrighty.
I used up my UO the other day-I think co-ed showers are stupid. While your husband might find it interesting, I'm sure the rest of the male guests are just THRILLED to watch you open 87 presents consisting of baby clothes and booties. I know some women insist their male friends had a blast, but really, are they going to tell you they didn't? No. Leave the poor men out of it.
Dude, I didn't want a baby shower either, it's not exactly gender specific. Ours was co-ed so that we'd all have more fun, but there was very little baby-related except unwrapping the few gifts we got (mostly books, hooray!) and those were from the guys too. We chatted, had quiche and bbq, everybody but me had beer, and my husband and I soaked up the advice of those friends who were already parents.
Oh, and cleaned up lots of spit-up from the two outside babies. Practice!

I did shave the lady bits last weekend because it was to the point that it was really bugging me and I couldn't take it anymore. Will I be doing it again anytime soon? Nope.
I really don't think women are as smart as men. I have no clue if any of my thoughts are valid unless I ask my husband. People should be able to buy guns anywhere, anytime, and with food stamps. Because food stamps should only be used for meat and weaponry.

Unless it's a cake smash for a birthday or something I really don't like photos of kids with random food smeared all over their face. It really grosses me out.
My FB timeline is filled with people who post pics of their kids who have smeared spaghetti or mashed carrots or WHATEVER all over themselves. Makes me want to gag.
I've found a lot of people find these pictures cute, though. I don't get it.

Guuuuurl you couldn't be anymore right. Thoughts on vaccinations?
No need. We eat organic here so there's no way to pick up any diseases. You can't get measles if you don't eat GMA's! Dr.s are so stupid, they only tell you to vaccinate because of Obamacare.

I don't like monkeys, the animal, so things with monkeys on them creep me out. Along the line of politics: I hate when people on facebook get so worked up during the presidential elections and post such stupid shit with no backing. I don't get involved but I want to post something along the lines of "Hey, if you guys really cared about your government and the outcomes of elections, I would see these statuses every year at election time rather than every four. Did you forget fourth grade social studies where this government works on checks and balances? Want something changed? Pay attention to who you're electing for congress because when it comes down to it, the president does not have all the power" Ugh so mad.
Why do my boobs look so good? Then I peed on a stick...
No matter what your political affiliation is, I think it's disrespectful to post crude jokes about political parties or the president.
Post your opinions, have HEALTHY debates with friends, but flat out posting nasty jokes or statements is uncalled for.
I completely agree. I can't imagine it being an actual UO around here but I think the name calling is the worst part of all that. Every time I see liberals being referred to as "libtards" I get irrationally angry and want to punch people. Just because you have changed the beginning of the word does not make it ok to use. Not to mention it bothers me to no end that this is done when if it were turned around and used in the same manner with the first syllable from Republican it would cause all hell to break loose. I don't particularly care about anyone's political affiliation and enjoy well-reasoned debate but this has just angered me for a long time.
I don't like when people post photos of their ultrasounds on FB. I don't need to see that - nor can I tell a damn thing from it. If it's a really early one you could tell me it's a tumor and I would believe you. That being said, I don't need to see photographic evidence of the inside of your cervix to believe you when you tell me you're pregnant. Post bump pics, fine, but keep the ultrasound photos off my FB feed, please.
I don't know if this is all UO. It may be part also fffc... I have a couple nonsense ones today: I hate leggings, I miss being able to tan, I will not give money to a person on the street, but I donate to churches/Salvation Army. If I can sit and work for 9 hours a day they can do that too.
Well dani I was away for a min
Where do I even start? Should I mention how many of the homeless are mentally ill? Do not meet the requirements of an office job? Would you hire someone who does not have an address or phone number and cannot find clean clothing because they don't have money? But I'm sure they just spend it ALL on booze anyway.
Seriously my office will not even look at you if you do not have a degree and let me tell you to workhere, you do not need one.
"Well I can do it" is right up there on dumb arguments IMO. You were provided an opportunity good for you, not everyone is.

Funny homeless man story: my sis lives in NYC and worked at this pub and this one homeless guy, Bobby, was always outside so the restaurant and workers knew him and thought he was funny. One day my sister shows up at work and Bobby gives her this bouquet of flowers and just say these are for you, you're so beautiful. She thanked him and walked inside where a man at the bar said "Did that bum just give you flowers?" and she smiled and said "yeah, he's a really nice guy." To which the man replied "I just gave that guy twenty bucks!" My sister's response: "Oh...well then I guess I should say thank you!"

I couldn't even see my lady bits when I did it a couple weeks ago. I told DH he'd have to do it when it gets out of control again. Trying to see around my belly and then using a mirror was just not sexy and way more of a workout than I need.

I hate leggings, I miss being able to tan, I will not give money to a person on the street, but I donate to churches/Salvation Army. If I can sit and work for 9 hours a day they can do that too. the FB shares of Obama was worse than bush and all things political -hate that crap on my Fb feed, ALSO all the "it works" "body by vi" and "plexus" crap my friends sell, is getting old. They share it EVERY OTHER POST. Also these pierogies (spelling?) do not sound appetizing to me. Flame away.
The only real issue I had with this was the "If I can sit for 9 hours a day they can do that too."
There's just so much wrong with that statement that I'm kind of flabbergasted that no one else said anything about it. I figure with people talking so much about politics and the economy, that most would be a bit more compassionate to those less fortunate than them. There are thousands of people with legitimate college degrees who can't find work, never mind those who were financially/circumstantially unable to attend higher education. Yes, there are many panhandlers, or people who would not use money given to them in a conducive manner, but there are so many others who need a little extra help. If you don't feel comfortable giving someone cash, then offer to buy them a meal. If they really need it, they'll accept.
In addition, the Salvation Army is EXTREMELY against gays, and personally, I don't feel comfortable supporting an organization who feels that way. Also, the actual Salvation Army store charges near-retail prices, so the locals who are trying to find an affordable alternative are kind of out of luck. Yes, SA helps out with big disasters, etc. but they don't help out the common person in need as much as you may think. As for donating to churches, you also have to be careful as to who you donate to, because often times those churches use their funds to help their own cause as opposed to donating to the community. Just a simple question of "Where is my money going?" could clear up a lot of confusion.
Finally, I suggest that if you really want to help out those less fortunate, volunteer. If you have older kids, bring them with you. It's a great feeling knowing that you're directly helping someone, and seeing the gratitude on the beneficiary's face is heart warming. Even just spending a lazy weekend afternoon serving at the soup kitchen may help a lot more than throwing a few pennies in a SA bucket. Overall, I think any form of donating/aiding to those less fortunate is admirable; I just think that people should be doing out of empathy rather than pity, or a sense of obligation. We're all just people on a planet with too few resources being provided, leaving us to fight over every scrap of meat we see out of fear of starvation. We're all human, and I think it's about time everyone gets treated like one.

A tattoo is almost always tacky.
Push presents make no since to me, and women who get upset that they don't get one tick me off.
I've never seen a single episode of Sex in the City, and I have no desire to
I do like a well done tattoo, I want one myself.
