3rd Boy - Sibset Help Needed

Found out today we've got another healthy baby boy on the way!  Big brothers are Corin and Ronan.  We weren't planning on another child so now we're stuck for names and wondering if we should stick to names that end with "n" sound?

We don't like traditional names, but nothing too crazy either (at least I don't think our current son's names are too crazy).  The only name I can think of right now is Lincoln.

Thoughts?  Suggestions?

You don't need to end with the -n sound, but no big deal if you choose one that does. Some suggestions - Orion, Leo, Xander, Miles, Rhett, Brian, Rhys, Cormac?

    Congrats on your boy!!

edited to add - I meant it's not a very noticeable trend to most, so whether you use another -n name or not isn't a big deal. Just wanted to clarify.

  • I'm not a fan of Lincoln as a first name at all... Try as I might, I just can't get on board! Your other two names are so much better.

Suggestions: August, Cedric, Desmond, Cyrus, Callum, Xavier, Zane, Piers, Dylan

Not a fan of Lincoln either. How about Lochlan, Landon, Nolan?

I strongly recommend NOT having the 3rd end in "n."

    Bennett
    Oliver
    Dexter
    Graham
    Jack
    Ezra
    Asher
    Grant
    Miles
  • I wouldn't try for something ending in N. Two is a coincidence, three is a matchy matchy sibset.
I do like your sons' names.

  • I agree, no n for #3. I love Everett right now. I also like pp suggestion, Heath
  • I noticed right away your kids names sounded similar at the end. I kind of feel like if you did it for 2, you're stuck doing it for all 3. Which is why I personally wouldn't have done it for 2.

The good thing is, there are a ton of fabulous names ending with N that work with your set that don't turn them in to a massive rhyme.

Ewan (I actually love this with your current sibset)
