When did you ladies start showing with your first? I'm 5'10" athletic type build, and I'm really hoping to hold out as long as possible. Any suggestions for concealing a growing bump?
It was hard to distinguish bump vs bloat for me first time. I started swelling bad enough to not be able to wear rings by 9 weeks. I "looked" pregnant early on, but the commonly accepted knowledge is that it had to have been boat that early.
I'm not swelling in my fingers an feet yet, but I am bloating something terrible and have been in maternity pants for 2 weeks,
Others don't show until 18 weeks, give or take.

I'm 5'7", athletic build. With my first, I was noticeably pregnant to those who know me well around 20 weeks. To the public, at least 27 weeks. Loose clothing works well, which is easier in the colder months. Also, something like a large scarf (and not tight fitting shirt) can distract from a tummy.
It started to look heavier by about 16-18 weeks, but was still wearing normal clothes up until past 20 weeks. It was maybe at 22-24 weeks that I started wearing maternity clothes. I went to a friends' wedding at about 20 weeks, and I could tell people were looking at me like "did she get fat or is she pregnant?" so I started immediately blurting out that I was pregnant so people didn't have to wonder. I wasn't wearing a maternity dress to the wedding..
I didn't have a noticeable bump until around 24 weeks. Even after, I was able to hide it a bit longer since it was winter and I wore loose-fitting clothes.
Everyone is very different so its hard to say when you will. I didn't start showing until 24 weeks, but I was small throughout my pregnancy (until the last couple of weeks). My mom said that was the same for her. I was also very active during my pregnancy I worked out 2-4 times a week until 38 weeks. If you are able to, talk with you mom about how her pregnancy(ies) were and when she started showing.
Im a bit heavier set, and I don't think others really noticed until 20-22 weeks. I felt huge at like 10 weeks but I think it was bloat/excitement to be pregnant!
I'm petite. My bump got noticeable around week 20. To conceal, try to wear dark colored clothing and learn to love layers. Also, going one size up may help too.
I didn't show (to where I couldn't hide it) until about 23-24 weeks. But genes have a lot to play in that too-ask your mom when she started to show, if she can remember.
