Hello ladies. I have been a part of the TTGP community, the first tri community, and now I hope to become an active part of this one after my recent loss. My H and I got our first BFP on January 23rd and had our first u/s on February 18th. At the u/s I was told that baby was measuring at 6 weeks, which I knew was quite off ( almost 2 weeks) from where it should be ( I was charting, so I knew when I o'd). I was greatly concerned and prepared myself for the worst, but hoped for the best. I had a second ultrasound yesterday, which showed little to no growth and no heartbeat. I'm still trying to decide where to go from here and the choice between waiting it out and having the D&C is not any easy one. We are completely crushed, but I'm hoping that being with others that have dealt with loss will help me to cope. I hope to get to know you all and to be able to support you in your journeys as well.

I am sorry for your loss. Everyone here is of great support, and it makes me feel like I am not alone. I hope you find the same support (I am sure you will). I would like to say welcome - but that does not seem right. I'm sorry you are here, but I'm glad you found us. You are in my thoughts.

I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I will note that this board has a lot of women who have had late pregnancy losses, stillbirths or lost an older child - so while some of us have experienced miscarriages, most are here because of our later losses. There's a miscarriage board that may be of more help, even though I know we can all empathize. A loss, no matter at what stage, is really hard.
