BH really intense

I'm 33 wks today. Last night I had really intense BH, but they we not like the ones I've been getting. Usually I get BH that make my whole tummy really tight and hard and they only last a second or two and I only get a few here and there. Last night I had BH for a little over and hour and they were any where from 3-6 min apart but they didn't make my whole tummy tight and hard. They were more my lower abdomen and started in the back and wrapped around to the front lasting about 30 seconds each. Has anyone else expierenced this? Are these types of BH more common the closer you get to your due date? I have a doctors apt. Friday morning and will tell my ob about them.

You could be a little dehydrated. Drink some water and go lay down for a little while and see if that helps.

I had the same thing happen around 33 weeks. Mine turned out to be contractions that landed me on bed rest for 3 weeks. You are right to mention it to your doc. I would call them before Friday if it happens again. Good luck! I hope it turns out to be nothing major.
