breast lumps at PP appt.! not breastfeeding

I tried breastfeeding my daughter the first few days after she was born but because I have short nipples and she has a short tongue she just wouldn't latch right. She was starving by day three and lost too much weight so I fed her formula right away and haven't looked back.
Now at 6 weeks postpartum I found 2 lumps on my left breast and 1 on the other (right above the nipple). I just found them all of the sudden; I'm not sure if they just showed up or I haven't noticed them (being that I'm so busy with the baby and rush to shower when I had the time).
Has anyone had this problem? I'm a little freaked out. I have a mammogram appt next week.

  • It takes time for milk to come in and nipples to stretch. Also check if tongue tied.
Probably a clogged duct. Is it a pimple looking thing?
