I spoke too soon about the healthy girl thing

LO was feeling a little warmer than usual, so I took her temp and it was 99.3 average. I know not fever, but high for her. I stripped her down, skin to skin, and lowered it to 98. Now she's 98.9/99 which I know is still not fever but I'm freaked out since I am FTM. Her temporal therm says for her age, 100.7 is fever. Pray for her temp to stay down and for me to be able to get some rest. I got about 15 minutes today

If your worried do skin to skin, nurse, do cool wash rags. Remember shes a new baby their temp fluctuates. If your still nervous you can always call the pedis office and ask to talk to a nurse.
