Babies on the Brain

The great thing about TTC...

The great thing about TTC is timing is everything. So here I sit ovulating while my H is stuck out on a ship in the middle of the ocean for the next few days. Fun stuff. Bring on cycle 3. I forgot how much "fun" this waiting game can be.

I know that there are ladies that have been TTC for a lot longer than me and I also know it can take upwards towards a year for "normal" couples. Just having a small pity party after a long day. Thankfully its almost bedtime for my boys so I can indulge in some ice cream without having to share lol.

How is everyone doing tonight?

Ahhh I don't miss DH being in the Navy at all. We weren't ever trying then (always preventing), but still.

  • I was having this same pity party on Sunday!  I have a merchant marine husband... he's due to be home mostly NOT during fertility times... if it takes a year for "normal" couples will it take us 2+ years? How will we know if something is wrong when we try every other month! I'm with you on this!

  • I know exactly how you feel. Hubs is gone every other 7 days and that is not going to change any time soon. I wish there was a way to tell your body to hold off on the ovulation till they get home or make it hurry up and come before they leave.
If you ever need to rant about it, I can be your buddy :)
