I asked for suggestions for girl names on FB and two different people suggested this name. I'm assuming it's a new spelling for Georgia, but I think it is downright awful! What are your thoughts?

This.  The woman I know named this is in her 40s or 50s.  I always want to call her Horha too.

Yah, I think of the actress too. I've always wondered if it was a real name or a youneek spelling of Georgia.

My mind didn't even go to Georgia! I just thought Horha like other posters.

I know someone with a daughter named Jorja, it's pronounced like Georgia, I strongly dislike.

Oh how awful!

Georgia is one of my guilty pleasure names that DH would never in a million years agree to. But I love the name, it's beautiful.

Jorja is just...the dumbest thing ever.
