Hi ladies, I hope you don't mind if I join in the check-in. I rarely get to my computer at night and end up just following the board from my phone. I really value this board and the input I have gained from following the conversation flow and seeing issues brought up that relate to my pregnancy as well. 

How far along are you? (New question- How far along are you measuring?)

32.5 weeks, I think that I am probably measuring full term at this point. Last week the MFM weighed both babies at just about 4ilbs each. My son, who was born at 40 weeks exactly,  was 7 ilbs, 5 oz. They rarely check my fundal height though.

Any updates?

I am hoping to get an induction date on the calendar tomorrow. Both babies have been head down for about a month now and I would love to try a vaginal birth. I know that it will be done in OR in case a c-section is necessary. The MFM wants to deliver by 36.5 weeks, so it is getting really close! 
When is your next appt?

I have an OB appointment tomorrow morning and then the MFM on Thursday. I am still seeing the OB every two weeks but have moved to weekly MFM appointments. 
QOTW- Do you have a "theme" for your nursery/babies?

My loose theme is sort of a floral "shabby chic". I have a ton of different size white picture frames and I bought some scrap book paper. I am planning on putting these together to decorate the walls. I bought a white draped valence and tea rose sheets from PB kids. We are pulling together lots of hand me downs and consignment finds for the nursery so hopefully it all come together!

Any updates? They found an "abnormality" in Baby A's umbilical cord, but none of the doctors seem too concerned, my next US is Thursday and will be done at the women's hospital where I will deliver, so the dr will be on hand to evaluate it more closely.  Other than that, the girls were 1 lb 3 oz each 2 weeks ago, and they're kicking like crazy!

When is your next appt?  OB was earlier this afternoon, next US is Thursday morning.

QOTW- Do you have a "theme" for your nursery/babies? Our nursery is yellow and light blue and we've decided to do ducks as the theme.

How far along are you? (New question- How far along are you measuring?) 34 +5, but measuring well over 40 weeks. Not sure exactly.

Any updates? On bed rest now due to mild pre-eclampsia, but induction has been scheduled for 3/17 when I will be 36 + 4. I'm excited nervous and a combination between more-than-ready and not-ready-at all!

QOTW- Do you have a "theme" for your nursery/babies? Lambs. It's not too literal of a theme. We have a lamb mobile and two lamb mirrors from pottery barn, two small lambs with their names in wall vinyl and some stuffed lambs. I couldn't find any lamb bedding I liked.

19w and the babies are both in the 65%tile. Havnt had a measurement done since I get growth scans.

Team/Type - team... I wish we knew we know of one boy but the other is being shy, maybe next week!

Any updates? Had a bad scare last week with bleeding but it has stopped and the babies are looking strong.

When is your next appt? Next week! Going in again so soon to hopefully finish up my a/s scan and to keep an eye on the SCH.

We are considering a sunset theme, orange colors on the walls, dark furniture and white linens

We have a separate playroom which will be bright with rainbow colors on part of the walls, it will be set up much like a classroom since I am staying home with them for the first 3 years or so.

Any updates? Other than the team purple, babies are healthy and active. It looks like baby girl is having fun beating up baby boy in womb... she was punching him in the back throughout the ultrasound. Both are currently head down :-)

21w5d...not sure how far ahead I am measuring...at 16 weeks they said 22-23 weeks, so who knows by now!

Any updates? Had to do a 24 hr urine collection due to both the OB and MFM being worried about my bp...so hope that comes out fine.  Definitely starting to feel more winded, and more RLP on my sides if I am up and about all day.

When is your next appt? MFM growth scan and fetal echocardiogram and cervical check is March 12, and 24 week OB appointment is March 21st.

QOTW- Do you have a "theme" for your nursery/babies? Since we have boy/girl twins coming, and they will share a room, we went with a gender neutral jungle critter theme...not that we have bought ANY of it, but that is what we decided on!

Csection scheduled for April 3rd at 36 weeks, 3 days.  Baby B is breeched, and MFM/OB are doubtful that she will turn.  I cannot believe how soon this is.  I am getting super overwhelmed.  

When is your next appt?

Every week I see my OB for a visit and NST, and I also see my MFM for a quick ultrasound and another NST.  I have a growth ultrasound at the end of this month too.  Scheduling the appointments while still working full time has been the most stressful thing for me.  I wish my OB would write me out of work.  It would make my life so much easier.  

QOTW- Do you have a "theme" for your nursery/babies?

My theme is organization and space saving!  Small townhome with no garage/basement, so we are being creative.   DD has her own room and it is light pink with princess bedding she picked out.  The girls room is light green, with white furniture, and hot pink accents.

Any updates? At an appt 2 weeks ago I was told my cervix was soft, which had me worried. I had an u/s yesterday that showed my cervix is 4.2cm so I feel a lot better now.
When is your next appt? I had an appt today. In 3 weeks I go to the MFM for a level 2 u/s, then back to see my OB in 4 weeks.
QOTW- Do you have a "theme" for your nursery/babies? Not yet. I've found some fabric I like for custom bedding, but haven't decided 100% on it yet.

Nothing really. My shower is in 11 days! Excited about that. My mom & sister are flying out for it, so it'll be a lot of fun.
When is your next appt?

Tomorrow afternoon. Done seeing the MFM at this point, which I won't miss. An hour & 15 minute drive one way every 4 weeks was not so much fun.
QOTW- Do you have a "theme" for your nursery/babies?

Not really. I just wanted something pretty simple since it will be so crowded with 2 cribs. Walls area  soft oatmeal color, cribs are white. There will be a cute mobile with different colors over each crib and a darling arrow banner in here somewhere. It'll make more sense once everything is actually set up.

Any updates? I have been discouraged lately, thinking of everything that can go wrong and think 3 weeks between scans this early is too long. I have a doppler but can't hear the babies yet. Once I can do that on my own, my anxiety will get better,

When is your next appt? Next u/s is March 12 (one week) and if everything looks okay, my RE will release me to my OB.

How far along are you? (New question- How far along are you measuring?) I am 24 weeks.  Not sure how far I am measuring…last dr appt I was two weeks ahead, but the one before, I was 6 weeks ahead.  I don't think the doctors consider it an exact science.

Any updates? I am feeling SO full of babies!  I  haven't gained a ton of weight, so everything in there is baby/placenta.  I feel ever movement and it sometimes hurts.  
When is your next appt? Tuesday I have the OB, MFM, and my glucose test.  Next Friday, I have consults with our hospital NICU, anesthesiologist, and lactation consultant.  All of these things are standard for twins and I am excited to see how everything works with them.
QOTW- Do you have a "theme" for your nursery/babies?  Not really.  Re-using DD's bedroom, which was just mismatched and fun.  The walls are yellow and the accents are pink.

Any updates?  Passed my glucose test (Yay!  I didn't pass the 1 hour with ds).  Babies are measuring about 3 lbs each.

When is your next appt?  March 18 with my OB and I see the MFM on the 24th

QOTW-  No theme really, we got them both the Brooklyn bedding sets from Pottery Barn Kids, so more of just a color scheme.

Getting into final prep mode.  Everything has been looking so good so far I haven't felt rushed.  Now, I see the light at the end of the tunnel and I have a bunch to do! . We are having a family party for the girls this weekend which should be a lot of fun. 

When is your next appt?

We have MFM and OB next week.  We've been doing bi-weekly growth scans since we started because we are mono/di, but since everything looked so good last time we got a 3 week break.  We start NSTs the week after next.

No real theme, but using a lot of white with pink and gray in the nursery.

Lunch time parties in my belly, it's been awesome feeling them so much.  Nausea is gone and I'm starting to feel like a semi-normal human being, need to enjoy it while it last!
