1st Trimester

Exercise..

I've recently started working out and then found out I'm pregnant. I'm a plus size woman so I wasn't sure if I should keep trying to go all out or just walk a lot. I've been doing Just Dance 4 with my cousin and I'm not sure if I will be able to keep doing that does anyone know if I will be able to?

Re: Exercise..

  • Your body may still look like it did before, but there are many changes taking place inside your body during the first trimester of pregnancy. I'm a great fan of Just Dance 4 too. I think it will be too much for the 1st trimester. You can try some Low-impact aerobics, yoga, stretching, and Kegel exercises which can be done safely during the first trimester of pregnancy.

  • I didn't really exercise before besides walking I didn't do hard or strenuous workouts i just started really hard workouts 2 weeks ago so when I was about a week pregnant... I just don't want to do anything that will hurt the baby...
  • Touch base with your OB, but standard advice is that if you were doing it before, you generally can do it now.
