My parents were playing with DS like his blocks were binoculars a couple of weeks ago.. this morning he was looking through an empty toliet paper roll stuck to his muffin saying, "I see you muffin!".
He LOVES playing inside the dog crate. He also fights over the dog toys with the dog.
Whenever I am wearing a dress he has to poke his head under the skirt and "hide".
Whenever he wakes up in the morning or from a nap the first thing he does is throw all his toys and blankie out of the crib. After naps he also uses this time to have pretend arguments with imaginary people... The other day I heard him declaring, "MY mama!" very sternly.
Whenever I tickle him he says, "More again!" so I will tickle him more.
Okay, glad there other kids out there doing weird things. This has been a hard winter here so we have been cooped up a lot. If we are in the kitchen she has to walk over and put all the cabinet knobs in her mouth. It literally looks like she is in constant time out in the kitchen. If we catch a mouse in a mouse trap she is beyond excited, and here I am terrified. Like @excited30 dolls and barbies can not wear clothes. Bathroom routine now involves before flushing the toilet when she poops she has to wave goodbye and blow a kiss. I just shake my head and then help her flush. She may be silly but I love her! :x
I forgot one.. Whenever my hair is up in a pony tail he has to steal my hair tie. He whines, "My tieeeee!" Until I let him take it. Then he wears it like a bracelet. Some days he collects up to 4!
My son, as a lot of you know loves to vacuum.. but yesterday at the zoo we went to the children's zoo area where they have petting goats. It took about 5 minutes before he would even venture into the pen.. the nice young lady who was tending to the goats was wonderful with him...
...and my son, being the oddball that he is.. goes over, takes her rake and spent 15 minutes raking up .. yup.. goat poop. Didn't so much as touch a goat, just cleaned up goat poop.
Jane will put any blanket she sees over her head and say "where Jane?" And then she'll uncover her head and shout "there she is!" She's also started really wanting the baby under the blanket with her.
She likes to unload the dishwasher and put all of the clean silverware in the basket of her doll stroller.
She will come and ask for snacks for her doll - and she won't eat them! She puts her doll in her high chair and puts the bowl of snacks in front of her.
She gets so excited about her naps. She'll find her Ollie and Puppy, run to her room, get her paci, run to her crib... And then scream as soon as I out her in her crib.
I love this age (most of the time)!
Re: Weird things your kid does
Not so much weird but when she doesn't want to nap, I hear her yelling from her room, 'Abby, big girl!"
She has to have all her toy animals lined up and facing the same way.
Her dishes have to be put away in her kitchen a certain way....that may be my fault.
She nests. She puts all her favorite things on the sofa, gathers the pillows around, climbs up in the middle, and covers up with a blanket.

When her stuffed animals need to sit somewhere, they actually have to sit. This causes a lot of frustration when they fall down.
DS pretends to sneeze. It's very dramatic. Ahh AHH AHH! CHOO!
He clears his throat before "reading" me a bedtime story. Also before he says anything serious.
His trains have to be lined up a certain way. I haven't figured out the logic yet. I think it may be the order in which he likes them.
